You had just finished your commissions and decided on strolling through Liyue. You came across the small bookstore, making your way to it. Taking your time, you looked through the books that they had to offer until you felt a tap on your shoulder. Spinning around, there you saw standing there, the blue haired boy.

"Hello, my liege." Said the boy.
"Hello Xingqiu." Seeing the boy always made you warm and happy inside.
"Is something wrong my liege?"
"Nope! I'm alright."
"Hehe, alright then would you like to read with me, my lady?"

Your face became hot as he called you something other than, "my liege".

"Uuh sure." You managed to blurt out.
He chuckled in response and held your hand to lead you both to a more private and better atmosphere for reading.

"Make yourself comfortable, my lady."
You sat down in the grass next to Xingqiu, opening your book almost automatically getting drawn into it. Xingqiu also opened his book but snuck glances your way as you did the same. Xingqiu noticed you sneaking peeks but he didn't say anything, only laughed. You both spent the afternoon together reading calmly until Xingqiu decided to make a move.

The boy placed his hand on your thigh, making your face grow red but you hid your face in the book.
"Now now Y/n, no need to get all shy.~" Xingqiu teased. He proceeded to take the book from your face, and sat in front of you now laughing.
"Not funny Xingqiu" you pouted, puffing your cheeks.
"If that wasn't funny my lady, would I be laughing now?"
"Hmph."
He laughed again in your response, leaning a little closer to you for a reaction. Of course, his actions only made you more embarrassed.

"You're kinda close there Xingqiu...." You said nervously.
"That's the whole point my lady." He responded, kissing your cheek, then your forehead.
Your face turned crimson red, gaining you a laugh from the boy. You just sat there at a loss with Xingqiu patting your head. His hand slid from your head to your cheek, cupping your face.
"Xingqiu?-"
Before finishing your sentence, Xingqiu kissed your lips.

"Hehe, yes m'lady?"
You just stared at him at a loss for words, covering your face with your hands. He patted your head again and stood.

"Allow me to walk you home now, Y/n." He said, holding his hand out for you. You took his hand and both of you walked to your place, the moon being the light for the couple.

A/n: I've had a little bit of an attachment to Xingqiu recently so I decided to write this :) it's short and all but I hope it was alright.
