"Y/n y/n y/n !!!! Come on I'm hungry help Paimon look for ingredients pleaseeee. Paimon doesn't have the heart to wake up Lumine after how hard she's worked." Paimon pouted. And truthfully, you couldn't wake her up either, everything she's done around Teyvat and allowing you to travel alongside her.

"Yeah yeah just be quiet, she's asleep and I don't want her to wake up. Paimon you stay here and I will go get ingredients." Y/n stood up, and left Paimon with a sleeping Lumine.

Inazuma was dangerous, especially since the three of them haven't been here before. They all still needed a bit of time to adjust to the landscape. Y/n was just hoping they wouldn't get themselves lost on the way to and back.

Y/n needed to gather sweet flowers, they had run out, yet fowl was still plenty (thanks Timmie). After gathering quite a few sweet flowers to last a while, many footsteps were heard.

Assuming it could have been the vision hunt decree or other troublemakers they quickly hid behind something...anything large enough to hide themself. Just in time it was, an angry voice was heard issuing out commands for a gnosis to be taken. Very carefully y/n peeked their head out the first thing noticeable about the shadow was quite a large hat.

Ever curious they had again, listening in before it was heard the troops had run for their various orders.

Y/n sighed a sigh of relief, they needed to let Lumine know of the new information. Just about as y/n was to get up the same figure appeared before them.

"What a nosy one we have here. I don't assume you would think I wouldn't have noticed?"

Y/n sat there pure shock and horror plastered on their face. The boy knelt down, roughly grabbing their cheeks.

"Why are you here listening in hm. Spill, unless you want to face consequences with the Fatui."

"I only came for sweet flowers until you and those lower rank fatui members showed up. I in no way want to mess with you."

The boy's expression changed in a somewhat unsatisfied manner. He let go of your face and stood up.

"Then don't mess with me, oh how silly I need to introduce myself still.."

"I am the Balladeer number six of the Fatui Harbingers keep that in mind now dear and I'll let you live." The Balladeer side eyed you and walked off.

You hated the Fatui along with Lumine, yet still something about his mysterious character made you want to know him more.

Realizing how long you took, you quickly made it back to the camp where Lumine and Paimon were.

Lumine was awake now, chatting with Paimon it appeared.

"Y/N WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG PAIMON IS GONNA DIE OF HUNGER Y'KNOW." Paimon angrily floated around you like a fly.

"Paimon Paimon that's enough leave them alone." Lumine dragged Paimon down.

"Y/n I am curious as to why you took so long though do you mind?" Lumine asked.

"Ahaha well you see...."

You told them about your encounter with the Fatui, not specifying their number.

Lumine looked at you in shock, "where did they go?" She asked, seeming like she wanted to beat the hell out of them.

"Hey now hey now....let's not fight them just yet." You stated, worried for Lumine.

She looked off to the side and sighed. "You're right but you were in danger and I can't let other people get hurt."

You changed the subject.

"How about we cook now, I myself have gotten sorta hungry."

Lumine and yourself had cooked the dish, Paimon practically drooling every second.

"Then how about you go on ahead and rest Paimon, me and y/n will be off soon too." Lumine said.

"If you say so Lumine!" Paimon went ahead and patted down some grass by the fireplace and laid down. They fell asleep quite quickly.

Lumine looked over at you, a serious look on her face. "So about earlier." She began.

"You said you had gotten caught up with a Harbinger right? What number specifically and maybe their name?" She asked.

"Mm his name was the Balladeer, number six."

Lumine's face filled with shock. "He's here in Inazuma?" She said mainly to herself. Lumine had discovered Scaramouche or the Balladeer in Mondstadt, when Y/n wasn't in their party.

Lumine looked determined to find him once more.

"Y/n. Tommorow we're setting out to find him." Lumine said, not letting you stop her.
