Diluc x Reader | Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DILUC MY LOVE

Y/n had set up a small party for them and Diluc in occasion for his birthday. It was the afternoon so the sun shone brightly above. Birds flew and sang their songs into the sky waiting for another to finish. The birds were free animals, roaming around the day and stopped at night. In a way, this is like how humans are.

Y/n went early to (place of your choice) for their party for the two of them. Their hair blowed with the gentle winds, bringing a sense of peace. In the distance, y/n could see Diluc's crimson hair swaying to the sounds of the winds. Y/n stood to greet him with an embrace. Diluc accepted their embrace and patted their head.

"Happy birthday Diluc."
"Thank you y/n."
They both sat down and had a small conversation with eachother. The bird's singing drowned out the sounds of other people, making it seem y/n and Diluc were the only people who existed. The sun's rays made it like they were on a stage like the two main characters.

Y/n and Diluc eventually finished chatting and eating and decided on watching the sunset, it dying down into night with the stars gleaming.

"Y/n."
"Yes Diluc?"
Diluc held their hands tightly.

"You know how I don't enjoy celebrating today but...he told me when I was young, people who pass that you care for become stars watching over you."

"So I hope that he will be witnessing this. Y/n, I don't want to make you uncomfortable nor do I want to lose you. Our fates have intertwined along the way and that is special to me. I don't want to hide how I feel anymore so. Y/n, I love you so will you be mine?" Diluc's face became dusted with a red blush and he averted his gaze, waiting for their answer.

Y/n stared at him stunned and their face arose with a blush aswell.
"Diluc, of course I will be yours."
"It's okay if not- I really?"
"Yes."

Diluc's face softened and he caressed y/n's cheek. "I love you so much y/n." Diluc closed the space between y/n and himself giving them a kiss. Y/n kissed him back.

When they pulled away y/n responded. "I love you too, Diluc."

"This was the best birthday present given to me so thank you, y/n." Diluc smiled.

I would go on but like I don't wanna flood the whole thing. Anyways Diluc you should come home.
