Venti x Reader | Picnic date

Venti x gn reader here we go. Also I apologize for the last little announcement I had a random burst of energy so I will be completely refrain myself from doing that again.

"Surprise!" Venti said, removing his hands from Y/n's eyes. There Venti had set up a small picnic for the both of them, surrounded by Starsnatch cliff's Cecilias. "Woooah" Y/n said, their eyes lit up like small stars. "Ehe, I'm glad you seem to like it my dearest y/n." Venti said with a small bow. They had both sat on the blanket, watching the sunset eating the food Venti had set out.

Venti watched y/n most of the time, surprisingly not seeming to get caught. Although Y/n had secretly also been sneeking glances towards Venti's way when he wasn't looking at them. The boy munched his apple and had begun to take out the bottle of wine he prepared. "Venti no wine." Y/n said, now looking at him rather than the sky. "But my dea-" "Venti no please, it's getting quite out of hand and you shouldn't be doing harm to your body by drinking." Venti stared at them dumbfounded and proceeded to place the bottle down. "My dearest, I would not have guessed you to say those words." "I care for your health Ven so of course."

"Ehehe...let's not bring this up on our fine date tonight." Venti said, his hand behind his head. "Yes of course Ven." Y/n and Venti sat for a while longer until it became dark. Venti pulled Y/n in his lap and wrapped his arms around them, placing his head in the crook of their neck. Y/n became a little flustered at the boys actions and Venti smirked. "Ven ven, is something the matter?" "Nope, not at all as long as you're with me there isn't any problems in my way."

They stayed there for a little longer, Venti eventually pulling Y/n into his lap. "Venti..this isn't necessary but alright" "Nuh-uh it is necessary because now I'm gonna put you to sleep since I can sense you're tired." Y/n sighed, giving up on trying to sit up. Venti pulled out his lyre and began strumming the chords gently. They had began to feel more drowsy and had closed their eyes. Venti still playing, made gentle winds caress their face, soothing them.

They had falled asleep, Venti had finished the song for them. Venti put his lyre to the side, smiling at the sleeping y/n. He kissed their forehead "goodnight my dearest y/n, sleep well and dream of the freedom brought to you."
