The night sky was beautiful, stars shone bright with the moon. Sadly you couldn't stay out because of a certain someone who invited you on a date.

You smoothed out your (shirt or skirt/pants, you decide :] ). You approached the tavern door, opening it and stepping inside.

You were greeted with the strong scent of alcohol, drunkards laughter and conversations.

"Oh y/n! I thought you'd never show up!" Said your date. You turned to Kaeya, he wore a fancier suit, his eyepatch had some fancy lace around it.

"I'm sorry Kaeya, I hope I didn't make you wait too long." You sat down in the seat next to him.

Kaeya chuckled, "I'm just messing with you. Would you like to try my favorite drink?"

You nodded, Kaeya waved over the bartender. "Yes sir Kaeya, what can I get for you?" Charles said.

"Two Death After Noons please." Charles nodded, turning around and mixing the drinks.

"You look great Kaeya, I felt the need to say that." You stated.

Kaeya's cheeks lightly flushed, you complimented him after all.

"Why thank you, and where are my manners!" Kaeya gently grabbed your hand, bringing it to his lips and kissing your knuckles. "You look splendid tonight darling."

Your cheeks flushed pink, you didn't know what to say exactly so you silently thanked Charles for walking over and interrupting.

"Here's the drinks you ordered Sir Kaeya, enjoy." Charles slid the two cups to you both and began to mix other orders.

Kaeya let go of your hand and took a sip of his wine.

"Don't worry about your drink, it'll be on me." Kaeya said, winking, or closing both his eyes you'd never know due to his eyepatch covering his other eye.

Both you and Kaeya enjoyed your drinks, for quite some time. The time seemed to have passed so quickly since you first stepped foot into the tavern.

"Y/n, forgive me for being selfish but I'm not ready to have you leave for the night. So how about you accompany me for a walk around Mondstadt?" Kaeya said, holding his out out to you.

You agreed, holding his hand you both exited the tavern.

Kaeya seemed to be a bit nervous, you didn't know why though.

"Are you alright Kaeya? You seem a bit nervous here." You asked.

"Ah me, I'm fine. Sorry for making you worry, let's go."

Kaeya led you through Mondstadt's streets, chatting with you. He stopped in front of the statue of the anemo Archon.

Kaeya let go of your hand and looked to the sky. The moon was bright and pretty. You were wrong  about not being out here to watch it longer.

You stared up at it's beauty, the moon illuminated your face.

Kaeya turned to you, his cheeks flushed. The way the moon made your e/c glow was beautiful. He was attached to you, everything about you made him so happy and felt like home.

Kaeya broke the silence.

"The moon is beautiful tonight isn't it?"

You looked over at him.

You smiled.

"Yes, yes it is."

Kaeya stepped closer to you, tilting your head up.

"May I?"

You nodded.

Kaeya closed the gap between you both, his kiss was intoxicating.

All your senses were clouded to nothing but Kaeya.

Kaeya pulled away.

"I love you y/n."
