Bored (Haikyuu!! x Reader)

Kita was shopping for stationary. Yes, stationary. For a project and for his notes. He might not look like the type but he enjoys designing his notes neatly. Makes sense since he always has top grades in his class.

He can't pick between the purple tape with pandas or the peach colored one with koalas for his notes on Japanese history but he felt it more of a peach type.

So he decided to get both.

He hummed as he looked through the highlighters for any shade of yellow, preferably a bright one.

His hand reached for a a shade to try it out but another hand reached for it as well, making their hands bump into each other.

He retracted his hand looked at the person. A dark haired male around his age nodded at him.

"Sorry, my bad." The person said as they politely bowed.

"I apologize as well. Please, you go first." Kita said in monotone as usual. The person nodded before reaching for the bright highlighter, looking at the brand and walking off.

"Ah, (Y/N)-chan... Is this..." The person's voice trailed off as he disappeared around a bookshelf.

But hearing his schoolmate's name was enough to get him curious.

'Ah, but it might be just another person with the same name.' He reassures himself. He glanced at the highlighter he got his hands on before looking at the direction of the stranger he bumped into.

'I should go check just in case.' For some reason his heart was pounding as he hid before the shelf that the stranger walked to.

He never stalked someone before so this is a first for him. He wonders if it was okay to do this because noone in their right mind would consider stalking.

Kita sweatdropped to himself before peaking behind the shelf only to see that Suna and Osamu was also peaking behind a shelf in front of the shelf where he was at.

His eye twitched before bonking bother of them on the head, making them hiss in pain.

"Ow, what you do that for, senpai?" Osamu palmed the bump on his head as he continued to spy.

Suna just pouted.

"Why are you two acting like you're doing something illegal?" He shot back. Though he did the same so he's not going to scold them much.

"We saw (Y/N)-chan at the restaurant we were eating earlier and she was with some guy! So here we are. What were you doing, Kita-taichou?" Suna explained.

Kita's eyes widened by a fraction of what his underclassman was saying. (Y/N) with a guy? When and how?

"Oooo, are you here because of (Y/N)-chan too?" Osamu said, smirking slightly, obviously wanting to get a reaction from his captain.

Kita just rubbed his head as he raised his basket of goodies, "No. I was buying stationary."

'Taichou/Senpai does stationary?' Osamu and Suna thought the same thing but did not question any further in fear that they would get punishment if they do tease their captain.

"Enough of that, you shouldn't be spying on people," he kinda wanted to though, "Someone might mistake you two as stalkers." He put his hands on his hips.

"C'mon! Aren't you a little curious?" Osamu smirked darkly, thinking that who might this guy be to have a date with their dear manager.

Suna grimaced as he looked at (Y/N) and the guy discussing over a book, "Yeah, look at him. He doesn't deserve her." He chuckled humourlessly.
