Chapter 28 - Day 65

It was finally Wednesday. The coach announced a meeting later on practice for the team.

(Y/N) figured out it was for the Interhigh coming up. The team would need to get conditioned in the right way.

So far practices were normal, she didn't have a problem. She's just annoyed that there was a long term assignment given to them that overlapped the competition.

(Y/N) groaned in her seat as she glared at the teacher with distaste. Oh, that woman loves to give assignments to students over weekends whenever she had the chance.

"Suga-chan..." She cried as she landed her head on her bestfriend's desk.

Suga sighed and patted the poor girl's hair, "Suck it up, (Y/N). It isn't the first time Hoshiguma-sensei gave out assignments that ruined student's lives."

(Y/N) groaned, not wanting to deal with cwap like this when she was focusing on being the lovely manager she is.

Coach decided to trust on her with something, but she doesn't what that is yet. She feels like the task will be heavy when he mentioned it.

She sighed, knowing that the next week she will have 1) A horrendous piece of homework about observing human emotions through interaction with them, 2) Take care of the team because coach said so, and 3) Probably her period by the end of the week.

She's going to be so cranky after this.

(Y/N) sighed as she went to refill three bottles. She was mentally tired today and she wasn't even moving or doing much other than putting up with the team and jotting down their stats.

Maybe it was because of the homework.

Probably.

She turned on the faucet and it released cool water. She carefully filled each bottle one by one. She hummed as she watched as the water rise up to the top of the bottle.

Then she suddenly felt cold.

She hears the familar laughter from behind her.

Her hair was now dripping wet and her clothes drenched. She looked down, shocked and scared. She gulped as she slowly turned around.

Akane was holding an empty bucket as she smiled wickedly at her. Ichigo and Rin were laughing behind her. (Y/N)'s eyes widen as the shook in fear.

She whimpered, backing away which was futile since she felt her leg hit the sink.

"(Y/N)-chan~ how are you?" Ichigo greeted, mocking a tone of friendliness.

(Y/N) swallowed a lump of her fear, "I'm f-fine." She shivered, the cold water and temperature getting to her.

"Ooh, sounds like you need a bit more water!" Akane yelled as Rin gave her another bucket, obviously planning to throw it to the (H/C) haired girl.

(Y/N) eyes widened, "N-No p-pleas-"

Her plead was ignored as they splashed her with another round of cold water. She jittered her teeth as she hugged herself.

Her eyes were stinging, tears threatening to spill. She looked at them with teary eyes, wondering what did she did wrong to them.
