Chapter 11 - Day 16, 2/2

Class was boring per usual. (Y/N) was excited for lunch. She's hungry, like usual. She packed a bento with a lot of things inside today and she can't wait to stuff her mouth with it.

Today she was eating with Sugawara and a few other friendly girls in their class.

But author-san had other plans.

"Excuse me, is (L/N)-san here?" A quiet shy voice called out in the classroom.

Suna felt nervous, he was about to ask her if she liked to eat eat lunch with him on the roof. He liked the roof but it'll be even better if she was there.

"(L/N)-chan! There's guy calling for you!" A male classmate said before walking back to his friends that are currently playing a mobile game.

Sugawara smirked, "(L/N)-chan, you're so popular these days!" The other girls nodded in agreement.

(Y/N) pouted cutely, "Come on, he's just a guy in the volleyball club that I manage. Anyways, he's waiting for me." With that she left from their little circle.

The other girls shook their head at the (H/C)ette, "She's dense, isn't she?"

"Sadly." Sugawara sighed as they pouted over her friend's behavior. Though they support it.

(Y/N) neared the door and saw Suna leaning against the wall beside her class, "Suna-san? Hello." She greeted.

Suna turned pink, "D-Domo. Ano... Do you want to have l-lunch with me?" he mentally cursed his stuttering.

"Ah, I was about to eat," (Y/N) scratched her cheek, he instantly feel his stomach plunge to the ground, "But s-sure! I'll make it quick, wait here."

He suddenly felt relieved. He breathe out the breath he's been holding and grinned to himself.

'Yosh...' He thought, doing a victory dance inside his head.

(Y/N) went back inside the class and grabbed her lunch that wrapped in cloth. Sugawara and her lunchmates notice this and decided to ask her, even though they knew what was going on.

"Oya? Where are you going, (L/N)-san?" One asked, a little playful tone dancing in her words. The (H/C) girl laughed nervously as she fidgetted her skirt.

"Suna-san asked me to eat with him. You guys wouldn't mind, right?" She said, feeling a little guilty about leaving her friends behind.

Her friends smirked evilly and shook their heads. A flowery aura contrasting their smirks. (Y/N) sweatdropped but laughed nonetheless.

"I'll be going now!"

"Haiiiii. Gambate, (L/N)-san."

'Gambate? For what?' This left the girl walking out confused by her friend's choice of words.

They were now in the rooftop, it was a little cloudy out but still nicer than it to rain. They both prefer not having to see the sun's rays anyway.

Suna felt nervous. It wasn't the first time he ate with her but was still as nerve-wracking when she was close. But he was glad that she came.

He ghost smile appeared on his face as he watched her sit down in her normal spot. He followed soon after, being close to her as usual.

"Ah~ its such a nice day today." She said, taking a breath of air as she looked down at the field where there some students playing.

Suna nodded and opened his bento, "You better eat, (L/N)-san." He poked her side, making her squirm at his touch.

She lightly glared at him with a pout, "Hai~"
