Bored (Haikyuu!! x Reader)

Chapter 1 - Day 1

I glanced around the area to observe my surroundings. A typical japanese school came to my line of sight.

Inarizaki High School

I read from a distance. I gulped as I tried to drain out my nervousness by thinking of violins and bass. I play both, by the way hehe. They just sound so sexy.

Before I rant my mind out of violins and bass, I was already inside the campus. I switched my outdoor shoes for my indoor shoes.

Oh right. I'm (L/N) (Y/N), I'm you. I just transferred here from Aoba Josai. I am a second year with high grades and an average face. I'm not really interesting much other than playing instruments and having a passion for food.

I go out sometimes with my two friends back from Seijoh, although I'm usually the third wheel.

Well, that's out of the way. I'm making my way to my class, which is class 2-3. I hope I'm getting this right because I have bad luck on going in on classrooms when I was in middle school.

I glanced around the room with my bored looking eyes but I really am nervous. Some students curiously glanced at me while others were talking amongst themselves.

I took a seat closest to the window. Behind was a girl reading a book. I swallowed my introvert side and asked her,

"Excuse me, is anyone sitting here?"

She quickly glanced up and blushed, "Oh no! You can sit there!" she replied cheerfully, offering me a smile which I returned with a small one.

I muttered a thanks before setting my stuff down and looked outside the window.

"Um... Are you perhaps a transfer student?" I glanced back to see the same girl with her smile.

"Yeah, I came from Miyagi." I nodded as I slightly turned my body towards her. She grinned at me then had a moment of realization and slapped her forehead. I sweatdropped.

"I completely forgot my manners, I'm Sugawara Reika. Please to meet you...? She said, extending her hand for me to shake.

I grabbed her hand, praying my hand was not sweaty, "I'm (L/N) (Y/N), nice to meet you, Sugawara-chan."

"You can call me Suga. Sugawara is a mouthful." She said as she let go my hand.

"Alright, Suga-chan."

Our conversation was cut short by the teacher walking in.

"Lets talk later, ne?" She said. I nodded, smiling softly.

Suga-chan and I talked on recess after our teachers made us introduce ourselves. Two straight introductions in a single day, another one later after recess and another one after lunch, I am clearly trembling with excitement.

I sighed as I turned to Suga-chan with a pout, "I'm tired."

She giggled, taking out a snack, "Its only been two subjects, (L/N)-chan." I groaned, already feeling drained.

I got up from my seat, "I'm going to buy a drink, do you want one?" She shook her head saying no.

I observed her for a moment, taking in her appearance. She has a beauty mark on her left upper cheek. I just realized she is very pretty, with her warm silver hair and honey eyes.

I nodded, and got out of the room to buy my drink.

I pouted. My friend is very pretty and cute. Must protecc from harm and danger.

With my ridiculous resolve, I walked to the vending machine in a happy mood.

(Y/N) did not realize but students from other classes were glancing at her and whispering.

"She's really pretty."

"So cute~"

Guys and some girls were blushing, since (Y/N) was emitting a very flowery aura. She wore a soft smile while her eyes were slightly squinted from the smiling.

She finally reached the vending machine, getting in line behind two guys. She hummed a random tune as she waited.

"'Samu... What should I geeeeeeeet..." An indecisive blonde whined to his grey-haired brother, who just flat out ignored him. He glared at his brother before turning back to the vending machine.

He groaned before pressing a random button and yogurt was he got. He nudged his brother before turning.

What they first saw was a very happy (Y/N) looking down at her shoes with a smile on her face.

"A-Ano... You're buying, right?"

(Y/N) quickly got out of her little zone and blinked, her relaxed face reappeared. She stepped forward and inserted her coins and buying her a (Favorite drink).

She opened it and took a sip before walking back to her room.

The two boys were really interested on your retreating form. The grey haired one took a bite out of his melon bread and glanced at his brother.

"You better not seduce her, 'Tsumu."

"Hah?! Who said I'm seducing anyone anyway?!"
