"The water that boils the tomato makes the egg hard."

"The wedding is so simplistic that she'll want to run for the hills. Bloody gold digger.", Alexander thought looking around the church.

It was the day of the wedding and Katherine was freaking out seeing all the plain poor people like decorations.

Her dress and ring were the cheapest out of the lot and she hated it. She had already informed her parents about her plan and was waiting anxiously for her to arrive.

"Why do you want to see me now Kat?", she heard the pawn in her   game say ,feeling quite helpless.

"You are getting married . Do what I say and as I say or you'll loose the money  that I gave you for help .

"Wh-what are you saying ?",the pawn helplessly stammered. she could not believe  it that she had so easily fell for Katherine's kindness.  After all how ,could someone so full of themselves be kind to a nobody like her ?

" I'm not getting married to someone who doesn't have money . You are getting married in my place . Here ",she handed the pawn a very cheap ring and asked her to wear it and get ready to be the bride .

Katherine then wrote a letter for Alexander and fled .

Just like that she was out of Alexander's life but he was not aware of the person he was getting stuck with .

The pawn got dressed ,went out and got married . 

Her face was covered with a veil and she had just lost her first kiss to her now husband .

While getting married Alexander was continuously thinking about why Katherine was still standing in front of him .He was shocked to see that gold digging girl standing in front of him , getting married because he knew that she was money minded and wouldn't spend time with someone who was going bankrupt .

After the marriage , Alexander's father noticed something odd with the bride and summoned both Alexander and his now daughter-in-law .

"Take your veil off now dear .",he said in a firm but fatherly way .

The pawn was shocked .She had to unveil herself. But before doing that she decided that she would hand them the letter Katherine had left .

It read ,

Dear Knights,
Did you all really think someone like me would get married to someone who will poor in a month of our marriage? You wouldn't even get me my dream wedding. I can't do that sorry, not so sorry.
I didn't put your reputation on stake and gave you another poor bride who'd adjust to that life so easily that it'd be hard to know that you were rich for her.

Suprisingly, you know her.
Don't worry I won't cause a scandal but I can't get married to you.
I have dreams, ambitions, standards and goals that you can't satisfy.
