Scarlett is pretty much the description of 'beauty with brains' and 'everyone has a scared past' together. Now what matters is her present. And this present need MONEY to fund someone's life.
Who? Someone close to her. But will she sign herself off...

"Ah, here you are Scarlett.", Katherine said pulling Scarlett into a hug.
"Katherine what are you doing here?", she said shocked to see her at the hospital.
"Oh, you said that you needed money. I cna pay. Take it as my sorry for hurting you all the years back. I'm ashamed and I just wanted to make it up you", she said faking concern.
In reality, she just wanted to gag at the thought of befriending a poor girl. But she had to,after all she needed a good image in front of the world and needed the upper hand in front of Scarlett .
After Katherine emotionally manipulated Scarlett and went after paying a lot of money, enough for them to hire an in-house nurse.
Scarlett was confused but didn't mind.
Grayson, Aunt Kristy and Uncle Jhon along with Scarlett had moved to a small two storey house near Scarlett's office.
It had been a month of her working in the company and she got 16,000 as her sallery plus 5,000 for the rent of her house.
She was doing good and she was happy. She didn't have to talk to Mr. Knight as she was doing her work nicely.
As of then, she was getting ready for office as they had a very important meeting with the CEO and her head of department Bella was presenting to everyone.
Scarlett had along with others, given her idea for the advertisement but Bella didn't like her or her ideas at all.
She quickly dressed herself in white top and black high waist jeans and wore a blue blazer over along with brown ankle boots.
She wore a silver necklace to make the look even better and left her brown hair open, parted from the middle.
She soon left and reached the conference hall where the meeting was to take place.
"And these are the ideas that our team has come up with. Some of them aren't that great made by new comers and I didn't want to add it in here but they insisted", she said looking at Scarlett.
She presented the idea and didn't give much importance to Scarlett's idea and ended.
"Explain the last idea once again.", Alexander commanded.
"Why sir, it's not that good anyways",she says trying to get out of it. She didn't want to explain Scarletts work.
"It is. Now do as I say or consider yourself gone from here.", he said making her nearly piss her pants.
She nodded and gave them a gist of what the graphic was trying to convey but it was completely made up and wrong since Scarlett wanted to convey a different meaning altogether.
" Who made it? It's nice", one of the board members commented.
That put Bella on fire and she took all of the credits. "Me,sir", she said and that made Scarlett, very audibly gasp in front of everyone.
"A problem Ms. Jones?", Alexander said.
She wanted to say no, seeing how Bella was glaring at her. But she wasn't scared.
"Actually sir, yes there is.", she said.
"And what would that be?", he said back. Before Scarlett could reply Bella did, "Sir, its nothing. She's new and doesn't know a lot of things.", she said.
"If you interrupt once again, you're done for the life of it. Clear Miss. Woods?", he barked at her giving her his hardest glare and turned back to Scarlett.
"Sir the graphic that Ms. Woods is claiming to be hers is mine. I can explain it. The message that I tried to convey with the graphic of the girl applying the cream and then feeling confident enough to not wear any makeup is that our cream highlights your natural beauty - which it really does and makes your real skin glow and heals it. Not that this cream replaces make up just for the sake of it.", she said.
" That is just another way to look at it. It doesn't make it yours.", Bella said, with a warning tone that asked her back off but she didn't have it.
" It is. But I can prove it even better sir. I have my iPad here with me. I'll show it you all." she said.
She took out her iPad and searched for the particular graphic in it and went over to Alexander's seat.
"Sir, if you zoom in, on the middle left side you'll see 'Scarlett's' written on it and if you zoom in on the bottom left part you will find that it has JONES written on it. If that is not proof enough then I'll show you that in the app where I make the graphics sir."she then backed off and went to her seat and continued ," Sir this design it's made by me and Bella didn't like it and didn't even want to add it to her presentation but she was forced to since she had to show-case ten ideas of ten people. Sir this was made by me, even all the elements and human figures",she said.
"Is what Ms. Jones saying true, Miss. Woods?", he asked her.
Bella nodded her head in yes and glared At Scarlett.
"Very well then. Miss Jones and Miss Woods in my cabin one after the other. The meeting is dismissed.", he said, stood up and left.
Just like that. Have a command, didn't wait for a reaction and left.
Everyone left except for Scarlett and Bella had left and the latter marched towards the former.
" You bitch. How dare you bring that up in from of Mr. Knight? You'll pay for this if u get fired", she said.
What she did next, put Scarlett in void she never wanted to enter. All the bad memories associated with that thing and the person pushed her into a trance she couldn't quite get out of.
She took four steps back after being slapped hard across the face and kneeled down, covering herself whispering, "Don't. Please don't."
In that exact moment Alexander entered and saw her sitting in the corner, her knees hugging her chest, her face covered with either of her hands and crying and visibly shaking.
While Bella stood there, with a look of triumph on her face.
" Whats going on here?", he shouted.
Bella was horrified and said " Nothing Mr.Knight.", and then went out of the conference room.
Alexander went to Scarlett and hugged her to his chest calming her down. Never in his life had he cared about a girl crying in front of him if they weren't from his own family.
After ten minutes of consoling her and saying "Carina it's fine", he stood up with her and she thanked him over and over and went to wash her face.
