Scarlett is pretty much the description of 'beauty with brains' and 'everyone has a scared past' together. Now what matters is her present. And this present need MONEY to fund someone's life.

Scarlett rang the bell to Grayson's house and waited outside for him to open his house.
She was a nervous mess. Not because she had to face them but because Alexander was firmly holding her hand.
She looked down at their intertwined fingers and realized how small her fingers were when compared to his.
A small smile spread across her face involuntarily.
Alexander watched her with an amused expression and lowered his head so it was in level with her ear.
Scarlett looked up feeling nervous and before Alexander could say what he wanted to or Scarlett could question his actions the door flew open.
"Scarlett!", Grayson shouted out of happiness. Relief spread through each cell of his body seeing Scarlett safe but was quickly replaced with confusion seeing her with a man.
" Scarlett. Where were you? Do you know how worried we were?", he said taking her in for a hug.
Scarlett wrapped her free arm around Grayson's body, one hand still in Alexander's hand.
"Can we come in and explain.?" she asked, pulling back.
" Yeah. Step in both of you", he said giving Alexander a stink eye and Alexander glared right back at him.
When they stepped in Scarlett was engulfed in a hug by Jhon.
"Dear. Thank God you are okay", he whispered kissing her hair and forehead lovingly.
" I'm fine Johnny but you might not be after hearing what I've got to say.", she said.
"What do you mean Scar?", Sam said.
" Let's just sit down. Yeah?", she said.
Alexander sat beside her on the couch and Grayson sat on the armrest of Jhon's chair.
"Guys, this is Alexander Knight. My husband" she said, waiting for their reactions.
"Come on. Scarlett stop joking. What's going on? You don't even have a boyfriend and now you're married? I don't believe this.", Grayson said.
Everyone else nodded in agreement and refused to believe what she had said.
How could they?
Scarlett had never had a boyfriend.
Also if she even had one she would never hide it from them. Marrying before informing them? That was totally out of the box.
"We've been dating for quite a while-", she said but before she could complete Sam interrupted her.
" For how long?", she said.
"Ever since I started the job at his company." she whispered, looking down.
She felt guilty for not telling them the truth.
But she had to hide it from them. She couldn't let them find out the truth.
She never could. That would hurt them a lot and she couldn't bring herself to do that.
" Uh- so I started working at his company and then we had a few one-on-one conversations and then he asked me out. I said yes. And it's been strong since then. The wedding I went to attend was his friends and he proposed to me there and I said yes. All of his friends cheered on and insisted that we got married there. It just happened so quick I didn't even have the time to rethink. But I am sure that I love him.", she said, still not meeting their eyes.
"Mr Knight. Can I talk to you? Alone? ", Jhon said glaring at Alexander.
He simply nodded and stood up to follow him.
Scarlett was scared. She didn't know what was going to happen inside.
She was nervous.
She was wondering what sort of questions they both would ask him.
What she forgot was that she was still seated in front of Sam, Sam and Kristy.
" So tell me. What's he like?", Samantha asked? She was probably the only one excited about the whole ordeal and yet she looked at Scarlett with a comforting gaze as if understanding her inner turmoil.
"He's pretty ruthless and cold at first. But if you warm up to him and try to get to know him he's nice. And his niece Nicky is just the cutest. Like I've only met her twice but she's so cute and sweet. He's also like good looking ", really good looking. She didn't say the last part out loud but they understood.
After what felt like an hour but was just fifteen cruel slow minutes then stopped and Alexander walked in with a very furious looking Grayson and even more furious looking Jhon.
" W-W-What happened?", she stuttered out of fear.
"They know. ", he said.
Two words. Eight letters. That's all it took for the storm inside her to burst.
She broke down in front of everyone and covered her face with her hands.
" Scarlett. Why would you agree to something like this?", Jhon bellowed
"exactly. Why would you ever let something like this happen?", Grayson shouted next.
Kristi, Samantha and Samuel watched over with confused and concerned expressions. Feeling helpless they sat quiet.
But not for long. Kristy spoke up on defence for Scarlett not knowing what she was defending.
" How could she have chosen who she falls in love with Jhon?" ,she said.
"She doesn't even love this guy. She was very conveniently manipulated and forced into this marriage by the girl this bastard was supposed to marry. She lied to all of us about it and god knows if this man wouldn't have mentioned it out of spite for how long she would be lying to us. I really cant believe that after all these years of protecting you you do this.", Grayson spoke out.
He was the most angriest that Scarlett had ever witnessed in her entire life. That scared the shitn out of her.
"Tell me this is one of your pranks Grayson. TELL ME DAMMIT."Kristy screamed.
Taking Grayson's silence as a negative answer to her question,Kristy fell on the ground.
Nobody until then realized that she had stood up from the wheelchair.
Grayson swiftly went over to her and helped her up. Scarlett moved forward to help them up but was stopped by Jhon.
"Don't come near her. You have caused enough trouble for us. You and your husband can leave. GET OUT NOW", he bellowed at her.
Scarlett couldn't believe her ears.
This was her worst nightmare coming true. And just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, Alexander stood up ready to leave.
Leave her alone. Without any one by her side. No one to look after her or ask her how she was feeling.
None.
