It's been about a few weeks since Toms been over. You both still see each other at school and text each other from time to time, but he always seemed to be busy until today; you both were about to leave school until he stops you at your locker with flowers.
Tom: these are for you, your favorite.
You take the flowers.
Y/N: what are these for?
Tom: what your boyfriend can't get you flowers?
Y/N: yeah, but these are a lot of flowers.
Tom: sorry anyway I wanted to ask you about a date this weekend.
Y/N: sure, I'm not busy this weekend.
He kisses your cheek and takes your hand to walk you home.
Tom: Sorry I have been busy lately.
Y/N: it's okay.
You finally reach your house.
Tom: don't forget this weekend.
Y/N: I'll be there.
He hugs you, and you hug him back, and then he leaves.
Y/N: weirdo.
You go inside the house where your family was waiting for you.
Y/N: what happened?
Dad: we need to talk to you about something.
You sit down with them.
Mom: grandma passed away this afternoon.
Y/N: what?!
Dad: I'm so sorry, son.
They walk over to hug you while tears dropped from your eyes. After a couple of minutes, you went into your room to cry. You could hear your phone go off, but. You ignored it. Your parents let you skip school the rest week, and then it was finally the weekend. Your door opens, and you could feel someone sit with you.
Tom: I'm sorry for your lost y/n.
You stayed in the position you were in.
Tom: I'm here to check on you since you haven't talked to anyone recently.
You stood up to look at him.
Y/N: I'm sorry, I should have told you.
Tom: no need to apologize.
You take each other hand.
Tom: have you eaten anything?
Y/N: no.
Tom: I'll make you something good then.
He goes downstairs, and you slowly follow him.
Y/N: where are my parents and my siblings?
Tom: they went out somewhere.
He starts cooking something that smelled delicious. You sit down and watch him cook.
Y/N: how you been.
Tom: I'm better now that I know you're okay.
Y/N: about that date that you were going to take me on...
Tom: it's OK if you don't want to go.
Y/N: no, I still want to.
He turns towards you.
Tom: really?
Y/N: yeah.
Tom: okay.
He finishes cooking and makes both of you a plate. The food was delicious. You and Tom talked about your favorite moments with your grandmother. It slowly made you feel better.
Y/N: thank you, Tom.
Tom: I'm always going to be here for you.
You kiss him, and he smiles.
Saturday
You get dressed for your date with Tom.
Y/N: do I even look good?
Mom: I think you look great, son.
Y/N: you sure?
Mom: I'm pretty sure you could go to this date in pajamas, and Tom would still say you look great.
Y/N: you're right.
You walk downstairs to see Tom talking to your Dad. They both look at you.
Tom: Woah.
Y/N: How do I look?
Tom: you look perfect.
You started to blush and started heading out the door.
Dad: you boys, stay safe.
Mom: and be home before 12, okay.
Y/N: I will, mom.
You close the door.
Tom: You chariot awaits.
(It's his scooter)
Y/N: I haven't seen this in a while.
You both get on, hold onto his waist, but Tom corrects you by making you hug his waist.
Tom: I don't want you to fall off.
You smile a bit; you could feel his abs through his shits.
Y/N: you been working out.
Tom: every day, baby.
He drives off; your first stop is a restaurant...
Tom: got us a reservation.
You enter the building, and they seat you at your table.
Tom: pretty, isn't it?
Y/N: it's something.
You look around it's fancy and seems expensive.
Y/N: why bring us here?
Tom: I thought it looked nice.
Y/N: so you haven't been here before.
Tom: no, I'm guessing you don't like it?
Y/N: it's nice and everything, but it's too.
Tom: Flashy.
Y/N: exactly.
Tom: then we should get something from Burger Joes.
Y/N: yes, please.
You and Tom quickly rush out and head towards Joe's
Y/N: sorry about leaving that have. I'm pretty sure you worked hard for that reservation.
Tom: it's okay. I should have done it casually instead of something crazy.
Y/N: but thank you so much for planning this out.
You arrived at Joe's, got a couple of burgers, and headed to the park. Once you arrived at the park, you ate and caught up with each other.
Tom: these are delicious, just like I remember them.
Y/N: I remember when you didn't like them.
Tom: I can have a change of heart.
Y/N: sure you can.
You wink at him, and he rolls his eyes; after you both got done eating, you looked at the time.
Y/N: six-fifteen.
Tom: to the beach!
He grabs your hand, and he rushed his scooter to the beach.
Tom: I know how much you love the beach sunset.
Y/N: We're not going to make it, Tommy.
He starts zooming even faster, almost making it towards the beach, but he stops because of traffic.
Tom: shit, we're almost there.
Y/N: Tom, it's okay.
He starts his scooter and parks it.
Tom: we can still run there.
He starts to run, and you follow behind him. Once you reached the beach, the sun was down, and Tom falls to his knees onto the beach sand.
Tom: Dammit.
You sit next to him.
Tom: I'm so sorry.
Y/N: for what?
Tom: I feel like I ruined today. I did it all wrong.
He lays his head on your shoulder.
Y/N: Just being with you is okay with me.
You both sat there watching the night sky hearing the waves crashing. It felt peaceful.
Tom: I love this.
Y/N: the beach?
Tom: I love living in the moment with you it's nice.
He stands and plays music on his phone and places it on the sand.
Y/N: what are you doing?
Tom: come on, dance with me.
You laugh, and you also stand up.
You take each other hand while you both slow danced on the beach.
Y/N: you look handsome.
Tom: not as handsome as you.
You both spinning around until you both fell into the sand, laughing.
Tom: I'm going to be out of town next week.
Y/N: everything okay?
Tom: just visiting my grandparents, that's all.
Y/N: I'm going to miss you.
Tom: I know, but I promise to take you on the way better date when I come back.
Y/N: just nothing too crazy.
Tom: no promises.
You look at the time. It's eight twenty you decided to go back to Tom's house.
Tom: It seems like nobody is home.
You decided to grab something to drink while Tom sat on the couch.
Y/N: do you want anything?
Tom: just water.
You get him a glass of water and walk back to the couch.
Y/N: here you go.
You hand him his glass of water.
Tom: Thank you.
You turn on a movie it's was a romantic comedy.
Y/N: this movie is pretty good.
Tom: Yeah, it is pretty great.
You touch his hand, and he smiles at you.
