Chapter 18 - Perfect Baby Sitters

you decided to let your parents go out since they're always in the house watching your siblings or at work, so a night out would be nice for them.
Dad: are you sure?
Y/N: I'm sure I can watch these two cuties for tonight.
Mom: you know, if you need anything, you can call us.
Y/N: I know, but I won't have to because I'll be the best babysitter ever to babysit.
Your parents laugh and hug you, and you go up to your room.
Y/N: I got this.
As your parents are about to leave they give you a schedule.
Mom: we should be back by eleven-thirty. Are you sure you got this?
Y/N: yes, mom, now enjoy yourselves.
She hugs you before leaving as the door closed; you went to check on your siblings to make sure that we're still napping, which they were. You head to your room, texting Tom to see if he was okay.
[Y/N: hey handsome, you doing okay?
[Tom: yeah, I'm fine, just finishing up some homework.]
[Y/N: Finally doing school work I see]
[Tom: I always do school work.]
You run the back of your neck
[Tom: are you busy right now?]
[Y/N: well, I'm babysitting tonight]
Then you hear crying, and you quickly rush to the twin's room. It was Max. You walk towards him, and he stops crying to take a look at you.
Y/N: what's wrong, Maxie?
You pick him up, and he smiles at you. It was adorable.
Y/N: hey, little guy.
You bring him downstairs and start him up a warm bottle.
Y/N: you must be hungry. You have been sleeping almost all day.
He looks at you.
Y/N: yeah, I wouldn't want to talk to me either.
Then the doorbell rings you open it.
Mailman: here's a package for F/N, L/N.
Y/N: That's me.
Then you look confused. You don't remember ordering anything. You sign for the package, and you bring it inside.
Y/N: did you other this, Maxie?
He looks at the package and tries his hardest to grab it.
Y/N: I'll mail you a package when your older, buddy.
You hear your sister crying upstairs. You quickly go upstairs to see if she's okay.
Y/N: Lillie.
She looks at you with tears in her eyes as she stopped crying.
Y/N: okay, how's does mom do it.
You try but stop because it started to get heavy.
Y/N: I need to work out more.
Then you hear the front door open.
Tom: Y/N.
Y/N: Tom?!
He comes upstairs.
Y/N: what are you doing here?
Tom: I felt like you needed help, so I came over.
He picks up Lillie.
Tom: and it seems like you did.
Y/N: Thanks.
You kiss him on the cheek, and you both head downstairs
Tom: I can feel winter slowly coming in.
Y/N: that cold, huh?
He nods. You grab a warm bottle of milk and feed your baby brother.
Tom: you look like your dad.
Y/N: really?
Tom: Yeah, but like younger and more hair.
Tom laughs, and your sister laughs with him.
Y/N: It seems like she likes you.
Tom: of course, I'm everyone's favorite.
Y/N: I wouldn't say, everyone.
You chuckle while he pretends to fake cry.
Tom: Okay, what's next? I'm ready for anything.
Y/N: even ready to change diapers?
Tom: Okay, maybe not everything.
Y/N: also, winter break is coming up soon, and my mom wanted me to ask you if you wanted to go with us to the ski lounge.
Tom: of course.
Then you smell something not pleasant.
Tom: Tell me that was you.
Y/N: nope.
Tom: wish me luck.
He goes upstairs to the twin's room while stayed downstairs laughing. You sat on the couch with your little brother watch cartoon. It was pretty cute watching him be excited at the cute characters on-screen Tom finally comes back downstairs and sits next to you.
Tom: I'm not ready for fatherhood.
You chuckle a little bit.
Tom: you're so cute when you smile.
Y/N: trying to flatter me, I see.
Tom: Maybe just a little bit.
You look at your sibling asleep.
Tom: I didn't even notice.
You and Tom took them upstairs and laid them down.
Tom: I had a dream. I dropped one of them.
Y/N: what?
Tom: Sorry, but lucky they just bounced back up.
Y/N: you have a weird mind.
You and Tom went back downstairs to cook some dinner. It smelled delicious. He did most of the cooking, but I helped.
Tom: well, here's some dinner. I have to get back home to finish some work.
Y/N: I'll see you tomorrow at school.
You give him a quick kiss, and then he leaves.
Y/N: there he goes.
You close the door, and just as your about to make a plate of dinner, you hear a knock at the door.
Y/N: did he forget something.
You go and open the door.
Y/N: who are you?
Kyle: won't you grew up pretty fast.
Y/N: do I know you.
Kyle: of course, you were a baby when I left.
Then your mom and dad pull up.
Dad: Kyle!

Tom: you have a brother.
Y/N: apparently, my family never mentioned June to me at all.
Tom: shit, y/n.
You both look at the moon. It's beautiful tonight.
