You and Tom have been Best Friends since the second grade, but sometimes people get a little too close, and both see each other differently when certain situations happen.
❄️Winter❄️ It's finally wintertime, the air cooler, and everyone is getting ready for the Christmas season. You started packing for your ski trip. Kyle: Hey, little brother. Y/N: Kyle, are you coming with us? Kyle: I wasn't going to unless you want me to. Y/M: you should. I can get to know you better. He rubs his neck and sighs Kyle: Fine, I'll go. You run to hug him; it catches him by surprise. Y/N: oh, sorry. Kyle: no, it's okay, just not used to it. That's all well I'm going to go pack, and I'll meet you guys there. He leaves the room, and you continue to pack your things. Mom: how's the packing going? Y/N: I'm all done, just nervous that's all Mom: worried about what? Y/N: Well, it's our first trip with twins and Kyle. Mom: but most Importantly, Tom is going to be there. Y/N: yeah. Mom: you two will be fine. You hug you slowly calming your nerves. After that, you help pack everything into the van; when Tom finally arrives, you both hug each other. Tom: Are you okay? Y/N: yeah, I'm just nervous never went skiing before, you know. Tom: you'll be fine ill be with you every step of the way. You smile at him as he kisses your cheek. 3 Hours Later You finally arrive. It's freezing lucky you brought a heavy coat. Tom: that was a long trip, but it's beautiful here. Y/N: you think every place is beautiful. Tom: of course, that's because you're in the field of view. You started to blush. Y/N: such a flirt here. Help me with these bags, please. You both help your family with the rest of the luggage, and you all head inside the cabin. Kyle: wait for me, family! You turn to see your brother Kyle. He didn't seem to bring anything. Kyle: I made it. Y/N: you didn't bring anything? Kyle: my bag in the car. Dad: I didn't know you were coming, Kyle. They hug. Kyle wasn't really into it by his facial expression. Kyle: I promised Y/N I would come, so here I am. He walks up to you and Tom. Kyle: Who's this? Tom: Thomas, sir, but people usually call me Tom. Kyle: well, nice to meet you, Tom. I'm Kyle. Pretty sure my brother told you about me. He nods his head in agreement. Kyle: well, little brother, I'm guessing you wanted me here to answer some question you wanted to ask. Y/N: only if you want to answer them. Kyle: I will. After I take a nap. He yawns and walks over to the twins. Kyle: look at you two adorable little cuties. Tom: I could use a nap too. Y/N: but you took one on the way here. Tom: I know, but I need another one. You roll your eyes, and everyone heads to their rooms to take a quick nap, except you somehow were full of energy. Y/N: darn, what do I do since everyone is asleep. You looked outside at all the snow falling brought chills down your spine. You called Jessica. Jessica: are you okay? Y/N: I'm fine. I just missed you, that's all. Jessica: how's your ski trip. Y/N: well, everyone asleep, so I'm just looking outside at the snow. Jessica: And you're sure your okay? Y/N: how are you and Leon? Jessica: Y/N? You look at the phone, and you hang up. Kyle: you didn't answer her question. You turned, shocked to see your brother up. Kyle: are you okay? Y/N: I'm supposed to be asking you the questions. Kyle: It doesn't mean I can't have any of my own. You both sit down. Kyle: are you okay? You look at the ground your hands start to shake. Kyle: I'm sorry that I left, little brother. He takes your hand. Kyle: once you were born, I was around my last year of high school, so I left. I left a note for mom and dad to never mention me to you, almost like I never existed. I didn't was them to worry about me anymore and focus more on you. Y/N: but why did you visit so late. Kyle: I'm a failure y/n I lost my job my girlfriend broke up with me, and I'm late on rent always I'm stressing myself out. He starts to tear up, and you hug him to reassure him that you're here. Y/N: I'm here for you, brother. Few hours past Tom wakes up and comes downstairs. Tom: guessing everyone else is out? Y/N: yeah. Tom: are you okay? Y/N: I just talked to my brother a while ago. He sits next to you. Tom: how did that go? Y/N: it wasn't great, but that shouldn't matter. I'm ready to go skiing. You and Tom both put on your snow gear and headed towards the Ski area. Tom: I promise you're going to love it. Y/N: I hope so. Tom attempts to hold your hand, but you quickly put it in your coat pocket once you both go onto the summit. Y/N: race you to the bottom. Tom: a race? Y/N: yeah, the loser has to buy dinner tonight. Tom: oh, your on. You both get into position, and on the count of three, you both went down the hill so far Tom has the head, but you quickly caught up to him. Tom: I thought you were new to this? Y/N: Kyle taught me before you woke up. Tom: cheater!!! Y/N: see you down the slopes! You then zoomed past him at high speeds, slowly watching Tom attempt to keep up, but you lost him. You could see the bottom of the slope, but out of nowhere, Tom appears beside you. Tom: not going to beat me that easily. Y/N: of course. Tom: see you. He zooms, crossing the finish line. Y/N: congratulations, winner. Tom: thank you, thank you. He walks up towards you, and you look at him with a half-smile. Tom: be honest with me, Y/N are you okay? You look away from him, rubbing your arm. Y/N: I think we should break up.
