Chapter 2- You Don't Know Me

Once again I do not own these characters. Except Nic.

Me: "Helmets on. Elijah I'm going front and center. No one comes in here unless it's our team." He nods and I walk out to the main room of the court house. I see two of the Avengers. But I don't know who they are. "Tin Man, and uhhh scary lady in spandex, you're kinda ruining my plans here." I say sitting gently on the front desk. The scary lady points her guns at me. "No fun."

Tin Man: "Surrender and we won't be too rough on you." I laugh as he points is shining hand at me. I cover my knees with my shield and fix my boot.

Me: "Aww that's too bad... I like it rough." I throw my shield at the scary redhead, sending her flying to the other end of the room, and I run to the tin man. He blasts toward my head but I dodge it with ease. Now I'm pissed off, I take my gloves and helmet off, and toss them to the side. "Now I'm angry." I charge up my hand and let out a fatal blow it would have killed him if he didn't have the suit on. I press my boot to his chest and stomp until the little light turns off.

I take off his mask and start pounding on his face until he went unconscious. Then I walked over to the woman, she was pretty, I didn't want to mess up her face, so I wrapped my arm around neck and focused my hearing on her lungs. I started to squeeze and she fought but I overpowered her and didn't let go until her breathing slowed. I let go of her as she is now unconscious.

I make my way to Ward seeing him fighting a man with a metal arm and a dude with a spider on his chest. I throw my shield at his head and he goes flying running to him I see Ward in an almost fair fight with the metal arm guy. He's got so many kill shots why won't he take them.

Spider guy is dazed so I tuck his neck under my arm so his body is bent backwards. Just as I'm about to snap his neck I see something flicker in the corner of my eye. Without looking I reach my hand out and catch it before it can hit me. I slowly turn my head and see a shield similar to mine but blue instead of black. The man that threw it stared in shock. I hit Spider dude in the head with it so he's out now. 

Me: "Ward give me a clear shot of the arm." Ward moves to the side pining metal arm guy so he can't move. With one last glance at the man I use every bit of power I have into throwing the shield. It shoots through his metal arm and lodges deep into the wall. 

AJ: "WE GOT IT LET'S GO!" I kick down on my shield shooting it onto my arm.

I walk up to the man with the metal arm. I grab him by the neck and pick him up.

Me: "If you ever get in my way again..." I look at the man with the shield "I'll take more than just limbs." I drop the man and begin to walk away.

Man with the shield: "Why are you doing this?" I stop walking "What does Hydra have on you that is making you do this." I turn to look at him. "Or are you just a monster?" I couldn't move. I was stuck. Frozen. He was right. I was a monster.

Elijah: "We all made it to the jet, waiting on you."

With one last sign I look up to face him. "You don't know me, so you don't get to judge me." 

He goes to his friend, and I leave the same way I came in. I rev up my motorcycle and lift up my visor positioning my shield in front above the lights. I make my way to the jet. I see this woman dark red hair, we lock eyes and I hold eye contact until we're face to face and I close my visor. I twist more on the accelerator and ride up the ramp on the jet pulling a stoppie once I'm in. Without speaking I jump of the bike and sit in the cockpit.

Ward: "What? No sarcastic comment about how we got our asses kicked?" I ignore him and feel everyone stare at each other.

Elijah comes up to the cockpit after we take off. He puts on the headset and stares ahead.
