Chapter 3- Why

Ward: "Eat and then go to the locker room to change into the suit in your locker. There will be a helmet near the door with your name take it but don't put it on until you leave the jet." I nod and grab a bowl of frosted flakes then sit with Five and Six. I look at them and think to myself 'what if they remember?'. I take a bite of my cereal and turn to look at them again.

Me: "Do you guys remember anything before the day we met?"  They think to themselves as they eat.

Five: "No I don't I just realized that, how could I forget an entire life?" he looked at us confused. We lock eyes and then we both turn to look at Six.

Six: "Well don't look at me normally I can't remember if I ate breakfast but i find it odd that i can't think of a single thing before Tuesday." I look at the clock and tilt my head 8:49 p.m. 

Me: "Let's go suit up we don't want to be late." We all get up and make our way to the locker room. I run to my locker and quickly put on my suit, and the my boots I look to the door and see a shield, black with a Red T in the center, it called to me for some odd reason. It also matched my suit so i figured I'd take it. I finish tying my boots and i put on my gloves, walking to the shield in a trance I grabbed it and placed it on my back it felt natural. I grabbed my helmet and waited for the boys to finish.

We left the locker room and headed straight to the hangar office. Strucker is there with Ward, Rumlow, Lockwood, and three other agents. He looks to us and begins to explain the plan. 

Strucker: "Remember all three of these congress people must be on that jet. Go now before you get there too late."

With that we head out.

I was put to fly one of the jets, it was just me and my team. 

Over comms- Me: "Neverland this is Titan, I need you to take control of this bird so that I can drop in with my team."

NL: "10-4 Titan taking control. You're going to need to go in through the glass."

Me: "Copy that Neverland. Chaos going dark." I switch our channels so that we can communicate with Ward and his team. "Come in B-Team?" we chuckle "Chaos is dropping in T- Minus two minutes." 

Rumlow: "10-4 Chaos we're on the ground waiting for your signal."

We open the bay doors to the Quinjet.

Me: "Chaos is turning out the lights in 5 seconds." I look to my team as we secure our helmets. I grab my shield off my back and stand at the edge with Phoenix and Picasso. "Lets turn out the lights. We all jump at the same time and I go shield first into the glass roof seeing Ward's team infiltrating. My team and I land the same way, one knee on the ground, me with my shield and them with their fists.

Me: "Don't make this harder than it has to be, just come with us and none of you get hurt." 

Two old men and a woman crouch with their heads to their knees and they begin to stand as they nod. 

Six: "Well that was easy." 

Five: "They're scared dumbass, they don't want to get hurt.

We escort the three of them back to the quinjet with no resistance this was almost too easy. We get on the jet in front of the congress people.

Me: "I'm gonna let base know we're coming in." They nod and close the bay doors. Just as I'm about to speak i hear two thuds then feel a sharp pain in my neck. I turn around my vision blurry  and two men in kevlar and a woman with red hair holding a gun to us. "Why?" then it all goes dark.
