Chapter 35- Happy?

Penultimate chapter y'all. Let me know if you want to see what happens on their honeymoon. It won't be an official chapter but I guess it'd be fun to read.

Change of plan... I'm going out of state, so I won't be able to get much writing done. Therefore, I will be delaying La Mujer Bambina until I get back next month. However, I will still be updating The Hills, the first chapter of which is out now! Please, please, please go check it out. I plan on that one being a lot longer than this one. The plot is completely different, and there will be a lot more action in that one. Thanks besties!

Sometime after...

"Good morning." I opened my eyes, smiling at the person in front of me. "Good morning Princess." The girl in front of me wiggled in happiness, moving closer to cuddle up to me. "It's time to get up! You always take so long!" She giggled against me, her happiness bring another smile to my face. "Well if you want me to wake up I need kisses." She sat up with a wide grin. Her arms linked around my neck as she left a big kiss on my cheek. "One more Princess." She leaned down sarcastically irritated, "Fine. But you have to get up!" She leaned down again to plant another kiss on my cheek. But before she could get back up, I tightened my grip on her, making her squeal, "No!" Her squeaky voice made me laugh as I squeezed her tight, leaving kisses all over her face. 

"Your mom left?" I let her go, letting her fall back onto the bed while I got up. "Yup! She told me to say bye for her. But Bucky is here, he's in the living room with the other little boy." I walked to the bathroom, grabbing my toothbrush quickly to get a start on my morning routine. "Did he make food?" I leaned on the doorframe, watching her make her way off the bed. "Yeah, he's making pancakes, but I don't think they'll be that good." I raised an eyebrow, surprisingly Bucky was pretty good at cooking. "How come?" She shrugged, shuffling over to me, "Because... he's a guy, and everyone knows guys suck at cooking." Both my eyebrows raised, completely amused. "Sarah you can't even cook. I don't think you have any room to judge. Besides, he makes great pancakes." She rolls her eyes, crossing her arms with attitude. 

I walked back into the bathroom, rinsing out my mouth before coming back out. "Come on then Princess. We have the whole day to spend together." I had to lean down a little to hold her hand, given her height. 

"James!" Bucky stood in front of the counter, the boy on his back like a monkey. "Hey buddy!" He jumped off Bucky's back, running to me with his arms wide open. "Finally! I thought he was gonna burn down the house." He clung to me, as if he was being saved from something. "You guys... stop, you'll hurt Bucky's feelings." He turned to me, a pout on his face as he faked a sob, "Nic.. they've... they've been bullying me... all morning." I stifled a laugh, sucking in my lips to keep myself from laughing further. His fake victimization, making them laugh. I turned, a disapproving look making them stop. "No bullying." I tapped them on the forehead before walking behind them. "You guys remember what happens to bullies right?" They turned to each other, annoyed at the reminder. Sarah spoke up, "Bullies are losers who lose to those that they bully." Bucky smiled, and approving look taking over his features.

We ate quietly, Bucky and I watching curiously while they ate as we sat in front of them. "So what are we doing today?" The boy looked at her curiously as he finished the last of his food. I shrugged at her question, "Well I thought we could go to the park for a bit. Then we can go get some pizzas and go see your mom." Their faces light up as they turn to each other. "Pizza!" They said at the same time, making the room fill with not only their laughter, but ours as well.
