Chapter 12- Party Time

I wake up seeing Wanda laying next to me. I had a plan for her birthday that involved her getting pissed at me so this was gonna be 'fun'. I get up quietly making my way to the bathroom. I quickly brush my teeth. I change into my training clothes and walk out to the training room. I see Nat working the punching bag "Hey Nat." She stops punching and turns to look at me "Hey Nic." I stretch and go for the dummy letting out all my frustration. 

Bucky walks into the room and see us training "Hey guys." I'm too focused to answer and I guess Nat is too. "Anyone want to spar?" I pause and look to him, Nat and I both answer him "YES!" 

We line up at the mat, all facing each other. We stare each other down seeing who's gonna make the first move. I go to roundhouse Bucky but he dodges it catching my foot I swing the other foot connecting it to his head. I twist my body to land on my hands rather than my back. Nat comes at me next attempting to punch down on my face, but I move in time and her fist collides with the floor. I pull my leg back shaking Bucky out of his daze, and return to guard myself again. Bucky swings his arm at Nat, I grab his arm before his fist collides with her side. Nat takes the opportunity to kick him in the gut sending him stumbling backwards winded. Nat walks to me, it looks like she wants to punch me so I prepare to dodge it. She stuns me with a kick to the side making me lower my guard just enough for her to knock me down. I reach my arm out to block the incoming punch, but she grabs it twisting it before sweeping my legs. I land on the ground harshly. She wraps her legs around my arm, she throws herself back pushing her leg against my head for support. She pulls down on my arm and I feel pressure on it. I hold out as long as I can but once I feel like it's on the verge of breaking I tap out. Nat jumps up throwing her hands in the air "YES!" she starts jumping up and down as I rub my shoulder "I kicked your ass!" I laugh.

Nat helps me up to my feet, and the three of us high five each other walking out to the kitchen. "Let's make breakfast for the team yeah?" they both nod and walk over helping to prepare. 

I'm flipping pancakes, Nat is cooking the Bacon and Sausage, and Bucky is whisking the eggs. I put hash-browns in a frying pan, alternating between them and the pancakes. Bucky put the eggs in a separate frying pan and put some bread in the toaster. I stack the pancakes on a plate "Jarvis get everyone down here, it's breakfast time. Also tell everyone but Wanda not to metion anything about her birthday." he responds quickly "Already done Ms. Rogers." I put the coffee to brew and take out creamers, OJ, apple juice, milk, syrup, and butter (for the toast and pancakes). Bucky gets plates from the bottom cupboard and Nat grabs mugs and glasses. "Wow look at us we're efficient." they laugh and we hive five, ready to wait for the team. 

Everyone makes there way to the kitchen entering one by one. Wanda walks in wearing my shirt and very short shorts, I can't help but get a little jealous, I don't want anyone seeing too much of her. She walks over to me placing her hands on the back of my head "Good morning." she smiles rubbing still struggling to focus her eyes. "Why are you sweaty?" I look down at my shirt seeing it's still wet with sweat "Oh I trained with Nat and Buck this morning and I guess I worked up a good sweat... sorry." she shifts her stance "No, it's okay, I kinda like it actually." She smirks and I pull away from her feeling a bit of anger arise toward me. "Everyone help yourself, there's more than enough." I grab plates for Wanda and I, putting a bit of everything for the both of us. I place them on the table where we're going to sit. She sits down in front of the plate but waits for me to get our drinks. I come back with coffee and realize we didn't have enough seats since Pepper and Laura are here. "Hey Princess stand up real quick." she gets up moving to my side. I sit down in the chair and pat my lap gesturing her to sit on it. She smiles and sits on my lap playing with my hair while we wait for the rest of the team to sit.
