"Yeah Buck. I know you only went for ice cream. Now I'm telling you to go back to the store and pick up..." I looked around the room, trying to count how many people were in the room. "A lot. A lot of food." He sighed through the phone, trying to think of a response. "Fine. What do I get?" He asked, clearly frustrated. "Well there's maybe thirty more people here, including their kids. So maybe a few racks of ribs, and whatever steak you can find. Maybe some shrimp. I don't know! Just put it on the company card." I said, before hanging up and sliding the phone into my pocket with a smile.

I walked back to Wanda, sliding an arm around her waist. "So uh... What brings you guys here?" I pulled Wanda against me. Holding onto her to hide my discomfort. It's not that I wasn't happy to see them. They were basically family, but they showed up without warning. It's going to take me a minute to readjust from 'alone time' with my wife, to a surprise visit.

"We have some news that we thought you would take better in person. Plus it was an excuse to visit you." Lena said, standing up from the couch. She walked over to us, her arms extended for a hug. "You know usually people call before entering your house without knocking." My tone was sarcastic, before pulling her into a hug. "Clearly we're not normal people."

"Well I'm glad you guys are here." I smiled, looking at everyone in the room. "I'm sure Wanda is too. She was this close to strangling me." My thumb and index fingers narrowed, showing the length of Wanda's patience. "Well go ahead Wands. I won't stop you." Alex chuckled, plopping down on an arm chair. A beer in hand. "Too many witnesses." Wanda sighed, tilting her head to the side. The lump in my throat was forced down, by the nervous chuckle I let out.

Wanda slid her hand up my back, moving it up and down. "I'm joking Baby." She said, smiling as she watched me take a drink. "I only choke you in the bed room." She whispered, her words causing me to swallow. Coughing as I choked on the beer. "Don't say that in front of people." I whispered back, turning away from everyone else. "And don't get it twisted. I do the choking." A smirk crept up on her lips, before she bit down on her bottom one. With a smirk myself, I plant a kiss on her cheek. "Love you." I offered my beer to her, but she denied it with a smile. I shrugged it off, because she wasn't really into drinking lately. It's not like we drank often, but when we did, she had little to no alcohol.

A knock at the door turned everyone's attention. They watched carefully as I walked over to it, peeking through the hole before grabbing the knob. With my best smile, I twist the knob, and swing the door open. "Hello brother. Thank you for knocking and not just barging in with the key I gave you for emergencies." I shouted sarcastically, making sure to give Lena a side eye. Elijah smiled at me, shaking his head at my childishness. In his arm, was Laurel. Next to them, was Charlie and Wally.

"Hey Nicky." Laurel said cheerfully. "Laurel. It's good to see you again." My voice was no longer sarcastic, but sweet. She pulled me in for a group hug with Elijah. "Where's AJ?" I asked looking behind Elijah. "He's on his way. Said he was picking up the party. Whatever that means. Anyway, he's bringing Thea." He patted me on the shoulder, before walking past me, into the house.

Not but five minutes later, there was another knock on the door. I was half expecting AJ, but to no one's surprise, it wasn't. "Steven! About time you show up." I put a hand on his face and pushed him back. Making way for his wife. "Hello Luv." Nat said, throwing an arm around me. "Natalia." I murmured, throwing my own arm around her.

Right away, I spotted little Aiden, jumping around behind her. Without hesitation, I moved Nat out of the way, and knelt before Aiden. "What's up little dude?" We did our 'secret' handshake, before he jumped on me, bringing me in for a hug. "Yeah, yeah, I missed you too buddy." He pulled away, and ran back to his dad. Clutching to him a sign that he wanted to be picked up.
