2 - The Strong Demon

Slowly fluttering his heavy eyes open, Calum took a mere few seconds to analyze his unfamiliar surroundings.

He was trapped in a dark room that smelt like blood and rotten flesh. There wasn't much light in the darkened area, but he could see the place being drowned in endless amount of the red substance.

It was a room of death.

A room that only had to of held an uncountable amount of people who lost their lives.

If Calum wasn't used to this type of violence and death then he would have been disgusted. But he was prone to it by now.

The only thing that he could focus on was getting out. He pulled on his arms that were chained up from the ceiling of the room, barely letting him stand up by his toes.

He groaned in annoyance when he kept pulling on them, being unable to become free even from his harsh and determined pulls.

The demon was confused as to why he couldn't be set free from the chains, since he knew that he was perfectly capable to get away from a design as simple as chains.

But when he kept looking around he found his answer. An ancient ruin was engraved into the chains, making Calum grumble in complete annoyance.

They were rare, but there were still a few remaining artifacts in the world that held the power to make a demon powerless.

He was going to torture and kill this vampire. And that was a promise.

Calum wasn't afraid of being held here against his will. He wasn't innocent and hasn't been in these situations before.

He knew how to take care of himself, even in dangerous situations like these. It might take a longer amount of time than he'd prefer, but Calum was eventually going to get out of this blood filled place.

A few hours full of Calum planning the end of the cocky vampire passed by, being interrupted by the one metal door in the room being opened alongside a loud, creaking sound following it.

He stared blankly at the two vampires who made their way inside of the dirty room and in front of the angered demon.

"If you know the best for yourselves then I would recommend freeing me."

The red haired one stared at the demon in silence, crossing his arms while the taller one grinned out cockily just like the leader usually did.

At least the leader wasn't there. Or Calum would have officially lost his remaining sanity.

"We were sent to fill you in about the dynamics around here." The tall one began, "I'm Luke. This is Ashton."

"And I don't care. If you think that I'm playing this game then you're delusional." Calum said with gritted teeth.
