"Before I dismissed this talk, I would like to remind all of us that..." I look at them and smile.

"... what's ahead of us isn't easy but tough so we must be tougher. We can do this. I will be an accountant, you will be an engineer, a teacher, seaman, a pilot, and someone you want to be. Congratulations everyone!"

They all stood up and clap their hands as I finished my speech. It's our graduation today and after this I have a dinner date with my parents, ate will be there too, I also tell my dad about Ky, so he invited him too.

"Congratulations guys! I am so proud of us"
We had a group hug before saying goodbye. We don't have to  miss each other that much because we had set an outing tomorrow.

"Congratulations anak!"

"Thank you so much Tito!" I hugged him and thanked Ky's dad for his gift. Nag abala pa talaga siya para dito.

"Papa tama na Yan!"

"Anak naman para kang aagawan"

I laugh because of that. Ate went near me and tell me that we're going home.

"We'll go ahead sir! See you later Kylo"

Nagpaalam kami sa kanila bago dumiretso sa sasakyan.

Tahimik kami sa byahe at parang hindi sila masaya para sa akin. Aren't they proud? Ate held my hands.

"I am so proud of you" she kissed my cheeks. How sweet of her.

When we arrived home our maids were busy for the dinner later but still Manang has the time to congratulate me and gave me her gift.

"Thank you Manang"

I told her before going to my room. I have to prepare for later. I was kind of nervous because I know my parents, they're mean and intimidating. I hope there will be no problem.

I wore a simple navy blue off shoulder dress and a flat shoes. I was checking on myself when I hear our door bells.

As I opened our gate I saw Kylo wearing a formal long sleeved and he's holding a bouquet of flowers. He doesn't look nervous but I know deep down him he is.

"For you love, congratulations!" He kissed me on my forehead.

"Congratulations Ky. Come in!"

When we entered our house my parents and ate are already waiting in the dining area.

"Mom, Dad, Ate, this is Kylo my boyfriend"

"Good evening ma'am and sir!"

"Good evening hijo! Sit down please"

My mom raised her brow while looking at Kylo. Ate just smiled at him. It was too far from the way his family treats me.

"Let's eat"

On my mom's cue we started eating. Instead of me preparing for his food he is the one who asked me what I want. He puts rice and dishes on my plate. I saw how my mom rolled her eyes.

"You are babysitting him hijo!"

"Ayos lang po ma'am, gusto ko po ang ginagawa ko" magalang na sagot ni Kylo.

My mom was about to say something again but thankfully dad stopped her.

We finished eating quietly. It's so awkward and silent.

" What's your family business anyway?"

Here she go again. We just finished our main course we're taking the dessert. I honestly want to drag Kylo away from here because I know where this is going.
