I e-mailed my manager that I will be absent for a week to take care of my daughter, nagulat pa ako nang pumayag siya.

Kinaumagahan ay lumabas ako para bumili sana ng almusal pero nakita ko si Kylo na nakaupo sa labas ng kwarto ni Skyla.

Mukhang hindi pa siya umuuwi dahil ganoon pa din ang damit niya. Nakita niya ako kaya agad niya akong nilapitan.

"Stella, I bought a breakfast for you"

"No thanks"

"Tanggapin mo na, baka umiyak ulit siya kapag gumising ng wala ka"

He's right, Skyla might have a tantrums if she wakes up without seeing me.

I heaved a sigh and just accept his offer. I thanked him.

Pumasok ulit ako bitbit ang paper bag na naglalaman ng almusal namin. I opened the door again at agad naman siyang tumayo ng makita ulit ako.

"Don't you like it? Do you want me to buy another?"

Umiling lang ako at pinasadahan ng tingin ang kabuuan niya.

"Why don't you go home?"

Nagbaba siya ng tingin at umiling.

"I want to make sure that she's okay"

I heaved a sigh and gave way for him to enter the room. I motioned him to come in, I saw how he was stunned.

Agad siyang pumasok nang makabawi, dahan dahan siyang lumapit sa natutulog na si Skyla.

"What's her name?" He asked me carefully

"Skyla Azter"  tumingin siya sa akin.

"C-can I touch her?"

Tumango lamang ako. I forced myself not to cry when I saw how a tear escape from his eyes. He caressed her cheeks gently it's as if he's holding a diamond on his hand. He kiss her on her forehead and wipe his tear.

He look at me and thanked me.

"You can now go home and please... Don't ever come back"

He nodded and kiss her one more time before he left.

When Skyla woke up we ate the breakfast that her dad bought for us.
Dumating din sina Avril at Uno. Maya maya ay tumambay din si Kian sa kwarto ni Skyla.

"Mami, you know what I dreamed of Dadi"

Out forehead furrowed. Nagkatinginan kaming apat.

"Really baby? What happened in your dreams?" Uno asked Skyla.

"He was touching my cheeks and whispering me that he loves me so much. I also felt his kiss on my forehead. It felt so realistic but, I didn't open my eyes because I'm afraid that it might be just a dream"

I bit my lower lip when they all look at me. It's not a dream baby, he really is your dad.

"Baby do you want Tito ninong to tour you here?" Kian asked Skyla

"Really Tito?"

Umalis silang dalawa para siguro makapag usap kaming tatlo.

"Tell me Hersh, is it really a dream?"

I shook my head, para saan pa Kung magsisinungaling ako sa kanila.

Lumapit sa akin si Uno. Akala ko ay magagalit siya.

"Why don't you try your luck now? Why don't you try to listen to him this time?"

"Uno seryoso ka ba? Nakalimutan mo na ba kung paano niya ako nasaktan?"
