My eyes felt heavy. It had been a cheerful night. All night, we, half of the Gryffindors, had been sitting in the common room, chattering, eating food which Fred and George had stolen and of course playing games to celebrate my sorting. It had been so much fun that we all forgot the time till Ms McGonagall entered the Gryffindor common room with a tired face.

"I know the sorting of Ms Nibley is to be celebrated but please, lower your voices. Some of us want to sleep." Turning around she was about to exit through the previous door but stopped halfway, "Also, Ms Nibley, welcome into Gryffindor. We are happy to have you here."

As the minutes followed, we all tried to whisper but this all turned into chaos when Fred and George had pranked two first years Gryffindors into eating some self made candy of theirs. Everyone's attention went to the students' red faces calling for help because of the candy which turned into some spiders.

We didn't even need a minute and all started laughing. And we didn't even need a minute before the loud laughs faded and silence took over because a loud bang was heard from the other side of the room. There stood the worried looking Hermione holding a thick book about spells in both of her hands.

"Don't laugh like that! Be a little quieter. What if Ms McGonagall enters again?"

"I don't think we were that loud, Hermione." Harry tried to interrupt but a glance of Hermione made him close his mouth immediately.

"Oh, don't worry Hermione. I bet she actually doesn't really mind, and it's weekend.." Ron mumbled as he stuffed himself with some chocolate at which Hermione's face turned into a disgusted one. "Ron, have some manners. Your whole face is covered in chocolate. And Harry, you're right. Luckily we didn't. Just remember to be a little quieter. " The ones listening to their conversation sighed disappointed or grunted. This caused Hermione's face to turn as red as strawberries.

"Don't worry that much."

"We can decide for ourselves."

Approaching Hermione, I placed my hand on her shoulder while facing the disappointed faces of the Gryffindors.

Aw, no, she's only trying to help-

"Hey, come on everyone. Hermione is right. Not all Gryffindors are here and want to sleep, so let them sleep." right after I said the word sleep, I saw some Gryffindors yawning, a few of them realizing that it was actually very late and needed sleep before tomorrow.

After some discussions, we all decided to sleep.

"Thank you everyone for this great evening. Good night." A few 'goodnights' and 'no problems' were heard as shoes shuffled across the dusty wooden floor going up the creaky stairs. Girls left, boys right.

The following morning yawns were heard all over the room. Messy hairs were being brushed while eyes being closed, saliva in the lip corners, and conversations about last night. It had been a long time since the Gryffindors actually 'hang out' in the common room together, maybe even the first time, Hermione said.

Still, was I happy about the fact I was sorted into this house? I thought I would be happy in this house, after all, most of my friends were here, in this house. But ever since yesterday, even at the little party, I couldn't really celebrate. A guilty feeling nibbled at me. Guilty about not being sorted into Slytherin.

I remembered Draco's words,

"If you don't all vote for Jaida to be in Slytherin, and tell your friends to vote her into Slytherin, then we're going to have a problem"

Draco's probably feeling embarrassed right now. Not only did he tell them to get ME, the girl he hated into Slytherin and basically threatened everyone, but he also lost the voting. All the efforts were for nothing.

The annoying feeling, like I owe draco something, shuddered through me and became even worse when I saw him entering The Great Hall. Trying to avoid looking at him, I turned to Fred and George who approached the table near Ron, Harry , Hermione and me, of course.

"The Gryffindor table seems awfully quiet today. Must be hating the fact that they won the voting." my eyes shot open when a cocky voice spoke out through the loudness from The Great Hall. Excuse me? "Don't. He's just jealous." Harry held my wrist and his eyes locked into mine. An unknown feeling went through me. Weird. Harry, never, ever 'stopped' me or really paid attention to me. Or is it just a small deal and I am overreacting? The guess that he trusts me now since I'm in Gryffindor is also an option.

Either way, I smiled. This weird feeling took over the urge to slap someone in the face and I relaxed, deciding to ignore any other insult Draco shouted. I will not lose and give him the entertainment he wants. Draco was purposely doing this since no one speaks so loud another table could hear you from the other side. And another reason to ignore, was because the whole Gryffindor table ignored his remark as well, at least the ones who heard his comment. They gave me comforted smiles and continued eating. I'm guessing they were already used to Draco's comments.

Ha, they hate the fact they won the voting? Draco- Please. They are tired after celebrating the fact they won the voting.

"So, Jaida. We told you, we would give you your next dare." Fred clapped his hands together after stuffing in some bread. Ah, finally some distraction. "So, last time on your second dare you didn't really complete it. You had to ask Daphne all those questions but after you couldn't be sorted we decided to do it another time.. however! You can do the second dare now and don't worry, we are giving you a different challenge." George explained.

I nibbled at a biscuit as I nervously waited for him to speak.

"So, the dare. The whole day, at least till we say so, you can't say no, to anyone."

This one is easy, especially when no one know-

"And we will inform everyone about it."

I cross my arms, "And how are you going to do that?" Fred shrugs, "Easy, screaming envelopes of course."

I sigh, "Everyone is just going to use me for homework. Quite boring, isn't it? Give me another dare." I protest. I didn't really have any motivation to do any homework on the weekends.

"Alright, you wish you didn't choose this but we were planning to secretly ride Buckbeak." Fred and George exchanged evil grins. "Buckbeak?"

George nodded, "Yes, Buckbeak. Hagrids pet. We are going to ride him, tonight." I couldn't help but feel excitement flooding through me, "Tell me the plan."

I'm so sorry we haven't been publishing anything. Tbh, I took (one of the authors) a break from social media, and mostly, people. I was finding myself you know.. and I'm ready again.

I apologize to everyone I ignored, and of course, the readers.
