The chilly winter air touching my skin caused me to shiver which eagerly increased my desire to go back to my cozy bed. "Here she is." someone whispered, quickly looking the other way when I faced her. I already knew it was Daphne. I rolled my eyes, "If you're gonna say something, say it to my face."

"And I will. Sit down, Ms Nibley. We don't expect such behaviour. Five points from Slytherin." Snape looked angry but his eyes flashed with entertainment. Honestly, I really don't see why he would take points from his own house. Most likely to make everyone hate me. I decided it was better not to protest and simply obeyed, I sat down. "Worthless." A minty breath whispered into my left ear which made me swallow. My eyes looked down at my fingers as I saw Draco leaning back into this chair from out of the corner of my eye. I felt a stinging sensation in my chest, at his words, but I managed to keep an emotionless expression.

After a long lecture about different kinds of potions and their quite interesting ingredients, Snape gave us the assignment to write everything down in our own words so he could see who paid attention and who didn't. This wasn't a big deal until he added it needed to contain five hundred words.

Whilst we were already at fifty words about healing potions, my wrist started to ache. Some people in my row started to chuckle; however I didn't dare to turn around since Snape's dark pitch eyes were staring at me, searching for a reason that would make me lose points. He did the same with Harry as well but still paid more attention to me.

"Eyes off Ms Granger's paper, Mr Weasley or points will be taken from dear Gryffindor. This goes for everyone who looks everywhere else but their paper." Snape threatened. You could hear Ron swallowing and mumbling a 'sorry' before he turned back to his paper. His cheeks turned slightly pink. Poor Ron. I would've felt insecure about my essay too if I sat next to Hermione. From the corner of my eye, I could see Hermione, whose tongue was sticking out of her mouth, intensely concentrating on her essay. It was hard to tell, but I thought for sure that Hermione had already exceeded the word limit. I couldn't say I was surprised though. Hagrid was right in the first movie, she really is the brightest witch of our age.

It became almost impossible to focus on my essay, when all I could hear were not-so-quiet giggles behind me. They had even caught the attention of Draco, who was turning around in his seat to find the source of the laughter. Thankfully, Snape didn't see, so no points were taken. Yet. However, even if he did see, what would Snape do anyway? Draco was his favourite student afterall.

"Psst, Jaida! Jaida!" A voice hissed behind me. When I didn't answer, a small kick against my chair made me bump into the table. 'Ouch' I groan, not too loud. To my luck, Snape was still facing Harry. "Leave me alone." I hiss back. I tried to write further but another kick against my chair made me turn around to face Daphne who held a smirk on her face.

As I was about to say something, someone was ahead of me. "Shut up, Daphne. We-... I am trying to concentrate." Draco glared at Daphne as if she was a fly that kept you awake all night. Daphne sticks out her tongue with a nasty glare and then continues to write. I turned back to my paper, before trying to suppress my grin, at the sight of Daphne's slightly pink cheeks. She, like anyone who is scolded by Malfoy, was embarrassed, and she did a pretty shitty job of hiding it.

I put more ink on my quill, and whisper a small 'thank you' to Malfoy, with no response. M gaze lifted up and I let out an audible gasp when I was met with two dar, beady eyes. Snape's eyes.

"I told you what would happen, Ms Nibley. Five points off Slytherin, again." He says. The Slytherin students glared at me, if looks could kill, I would be six feet underground. I knew at that moment that it had been Daphne's idea to trick me into turning around, and to get in trouble by Snape. If only killing was legal....
