The whole morning Fred, George and I pranked all of our friends by making them eat nasty Weasley products, scaring them, and, much to the twins' amusement, annoying Ron.
"So what are we gonna do to our little brother?" George smirks while we're watching Ron and Hermione whisper about something. "It's your turn to think of something now." Fred says, also smirking.
The similarities these twins have, wow.
I tapped my chin, trying to think back to my endless hours in the library, racking my brain for a spell to use. Okay, think...what would be an excellent prank? Of course! A switching spell. I make a mental note to apologise to Ron later.
"Don't tell anyone I'm doing this." They nodded. I walked a little closer to Ron, being careful not to step out from behind the bookcase and into Ron's view.
This morning, I read about switching spells, and how many sorts of switching spells there are. Luckily, I can still recall the one I need right now because I didn't want to suddenly turn Ron into me, but I thought a simpler switching spell might be just as amusing. I grabbed my wand, walking a little forward and pointing the wooden object at Ron.
I'm sorry.
"Cie calceamenta motus." I whisper out as I walk back to the red-haired twins. "So, what did you do?" George asked curiously. "Watch and see." I say as I cast another spell to make the book which Ron was reading fall into the ground. Ron stood up and walked towards the book to grab it... if it was even possible.
We began laughing as soon as Ron's face planted on the ground. Ron grunted in pain and rubbed painfully on his face. His cheeks turned red of embarrassment. "You switched his shoes!" Fred cheered. "Actually, I only switched the movements of the shoes, making the right one act like the left and so on, but pretty much". Proudly, I lightly pounded on my chest.
"Jaida? Fred! George?!" Our eyes went wide. Oh no, he knew it was our doing- my doing. We laughed before the others in the library could even comprehend what just happened. With the help of Hermione, Ron stood up.
"We got to go!" The twins grabbed my wrists as they pulled me with them. Our legs moved out of the library towards the big halls. While running we couldn't stop laughing so eventually we stopped around a corner, catching our breath.
"So, am I officially part of your group?" I ask excitement flooding through my body. "Hmm, you did well but not good enough." Fred says whilst George showed his agreement with a nod. My mouth fell open. "Nonsense. I did well." They looked at me like I was a little child.
Fred's eyes sparkled with excitement, "I bet you wouldn't dare to do such a thing again- in fact, let's make a bet. Prove you're brave enough to be in our group."
Hmm, "I'll prove you wrong. What's the bet?"
"George and I will give you five dares. If you manage to do all of them-," I interrupted him before he could even finish. "If I do all the dares and win the bet, you will apologize, and do anything I want for a whole day. Also, I will be part of your group." I got closer, challenging them. I'm not sure if you can even call them a group, they are more like a duo. Both of the twins gave me an undecided look and then turned their backs on me, probably to discuss their answer. It took quite a while. "Afraid I will be able to do all of your dares? Afraid I will win the bet?" Saying this made them turn around. "Are you sure you want to do this? You know, we will have no mercy." Fred got closer which forced me to look up because of his height. "If you fail to do the dares then.. we win the bet and you'll do what WE want for a whole day, deal?!" Fred challenges me with a smirk.
