***My heart started beating incredibly fast, and I found myself not daring to take another breath. Blaise sat up in his bed, squinting, trying to get his eyes to adjust to the darkness. "Did I stutter? What are you doing?"Just as I was about to open my mouth and come up with a ridiculous excuse, I heard Blaise speak again. "Goyle? Are you deaf. Answer me!" Blaise hissed. "I-I got hungry, and there's some spare food from the feast in my bag. I was just getting that." Goyle stuttered.
Relief washed through my body. He hadn't seen me, and I don't intend on risking it again. Besides, there is no excuse why a girl who belongs in another house for a night is sneaking into a locked bos dormitory.
"Pig" Blaise stuttered, and I heard the two boys shuffle around in their beds. A few minutes later, I heard heavy breathing and soft snoring. Even though the were asleep, I couldn't risk leaving again, even if I had the cloak. I guess I'll be spending the night beneath Draco's bed.
I laid boringly beneath the bed. My back felt as stiff as wood and my eyes felt as dry as a stone. It was hard to keep them open, 'I can't risk falling asleep, what if he hears me?' I thought as I led out a yawn.
The whole night I had been lying under the bed of Draco. He mumbled so much in his sleep that sometimes I thought he had found me.
That damn key.
Draco had it clutched in his hand, it was impossible to grab. He held it so close to him, you'd think it could run away.
Even though I was staging relatively quiet, my stomach was growling louder by the minute.
I could feel my mouth watering at the thought of food. I thought back to my friends. Had they noticed I was not in the dorm? Had Harry noticed that his cloak was gone? My mind began racing with thoughts, which thankfully, kept me awake. The only good thing now was that I had Draco's wand, although that's probably the first thing he will look for in the morning-... oh my, I'm fucked.
Finally, I heard the boys wake up. I closed my eyes when they changed into their uniforms. I did not want to see that... maybe.
Draco handed over the key after which some students left the room, and right after he was done with changing into his uniform, he approached the bed again. The bed that I had been hiding under for well over eighty hours.
"Where is my wand!" Draco shouted in a raging voice. He turned around and walked towards the other beds, searching.
"I don't have it,'
"I think Goyle has it!"
"No, I think Crabbe has it!"
"Maybe you left it somewhere?"
With a loud aggressive sigh, Draco walked towards the bed again and I'd almost gasped, when his two eyes were suddenly in front of me to lurk beneath the bed. I could have sworn his pale blue eyes were looking into mine, but then he closed them to reach his hand under the bed. His fingertips almost grazed the cloak, but I pulled back just in time.
"Didn't your owl panic last night? Maybe...", Crabbe paused, "...someone else stole it. You know, before you closed the door." I opened my mouth in shock. The stupidest boy in Slytherin had actually figured it out, but my thoughts were interrupted when Draco came out from searching beneath the bed and sitting on his mattress.
"I swear that Potter has it-"
"It can't be him. Only a Slytherin could have come into this dorm." Blaise answered while putting on his coat. "You're right, but it doesn't matter. I'll check the mudbloods either way." Draco arose from the bed while he grabbed his book, and with hurried steps, he left the room,
