Part 31 - Asgard

Everyone stared at Conecle, who walked around in front of the window.

"You forget what a soul is. A soul is a vessel for everything that lives. Without a soul, you aren't who you are. Your soul gives you emotions, feelings and understandings of many emotional things. It is the most important thing you can own. As soon as it is removed...well, then there is nothing left of you. Everything you once used to be, vanishes and you can do nothing against it. You turn cold and grow fastly distant with who you used to be. You don't feel like yourself anymore and grow colder. That would be, if you were Human."

They all stared at Conecle in shock and slowly Thor also seemed to understand that there was more, than he ever thought.

"Destiny is sadly everything together. Fire Demon, Demon, Frost Giant and Asir. If a Demon has no soul anymore, they turn back into what they once had been. Everyone knows the Stories of Demons. They are pure evil, haunt you, torture you and kill you, devouring your soul in the very end. That was how Demons actually changed for the better and a new race got created. But if someone is taking their soul away from them, they turn back into this Monstrosity until they have a new self made soul again. Now Destiny was a born Soul possessing Demon and she is way more powerful, than any of us."

"Why ?", Tony asked.

"Frost Giants, Fire Demons and Demons have incredible Power and she also possesses Seidr. She is full with Magic and Elements. She is another being, because she is 4 beings in one. Which makes her a weapon and she could destroy Realms upon Realms if she turns soulless. That is why she tries so hard to stay who she used to be. She doesn't want to become that Monster. But no one heard her pleas and cries. Not even me. Maybe Loki distantly actually heard her, but it was already too late as he heard her. Now he is trapped. She could tell him everything now, but she will never let him go, until we give her what she wants."

"And we just have 2 days left...", Bruce said.

"Exactly. I guess Rachel, Heiko and Hannah will try to help Destiny stay alive as long as possible. She tries to give you time. So we better use it."

Thor looked away in guilt.

"I am sorry I called your Sister bad names... It was not fair."

"It is alright. You didn't know much about souls and how they work.", Conecle said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Then we better screw off and to Asgard, before Destiny is gone and Loki dead.", Clint said.

Tony looked at him weirded out.

"Since when do you like Reindeer Games ?"

"Since a few hours ago. We decided to become friends."

"Well then let's do this.", Conecle said.

He teleported them to the roof of Avengers Tower and Thor lifted his hammer.

"HEIMDALL !!! OPEN THE BIFROST !!"

A colorful light appeared and soon engulfed them. They got transported to Asgard.

In a few seconds they stood in Asgard.

"Welcome home my Prince. Welcome to Asgard, Avengers and Ash Aki Dust.", Heimdall greeted them.

"Thank you Heimdall.", Thor said.

"Hurry up ! We have not much time !", Thor then yelled at the rest and they ran off to the Palace.

Soon they were inside it and Thor threw the doors open to the throne room and there he sat....Odin. The Allfather...

"Father, this is urgent.", Thor said.

"What is it and why are these Midgardians here ?"

"They are my friends. And we need something that you keep in the vault."

"Midgardians have something to search here as much as a goat. Nothing. Let me guess Loki messed up again ? I will get the artifact then..."

"Wow, uuh, Rude ?", Tony sassed.

"This is not about Loki and him messing up ! He is great and not doing anything bad !", Natasha said with sternness.

"We came here, because Loki is in grave danger.", Steve said.

"Danger ? Loki ?", Odin repeated in disbelief.

"Yes he is. You have something, that doesn't belong to you and if we won't get it Loki will be gone for ever.", Clint said.

Frigga entered just then the throne room and looked at Thor.

"Thor ! What a pleasure to see you, my Son. These must be your friends, the Avengers, right ?"

"Yes Mother.", Thor said.

"It is an honor to meet you. But...where is Loki ? He didn't do something stupid, did he ?", Frigga asked worried.

"They claim that Loki is in grave danger and will be gone if I don't give them something, they claim, is not mine.", Odin said bored.

Frigga covered her mouth in utter horror and shock.

"What happened ? Where is Loki ?!", she asked panicked.

"We don't know.", Bruce said calmly, with regret.

"What do you mean with that ?", Odin pressed a bit angered.

Tony stepped up.

"Stop being so rude. We won't tell you, if you are so mean to us."

"Then we go to Jotunheim and tell Laufey...", Thor said darkly.

Odin glared at Thor.

"You will do no such thing !", he yelled at Thor.

"Why not ? Laufey is Loki's real Father. He would care and not still sit here and question if we lie or not."

"He abandoned Loki as he was a Baby !", Odin yelled.

"Did he really ?", Thor asked with a challenging voice.

"YES HE DID !"

"I can just go and ask him, you know ?", Thor threatened.

"And then what ? Tell Loki ?", Odin laughed.

Frigga looked at Odin angered and slapped the back of his head.

"This is my Baby we are talking about, even if he is adopted, he is a part of our Family, so get it together and let them explain what happened. Or I swear to Bor, I will leave you.", Frigga said.

Odin shut up and looked at Thor.

"Explain.", he demanded.

The ones who don't know, I am moving my stuff to AO3 and that is mostly the reason that I didn't update this long. Anyways I am back at it again ! So sorry for the long wait.
