The mischievous one...(Loki and Fem!Reader)

Part 17 - Truth that was hidden from them all

Loki took a deep breath and looked around, nervous.

"I...Where shall I start ? At the beginning or...at the end ?", he asked nervous.

"You are stalling. Start from the beginning, Loki.", Natasha said.

Loki looked down and was looking very paralyzed. Destiny went over to him and stroked his hand. He snapped his head up and looked at Destiny.

"You can do this. No more secrets. Loki if he tells you to tell them, then he has his reasons. He always knows what he is doing.", Destiny said.

Loki nodded, but still looked scared. Destiny gave him another reassuring smile. That was all it took for him to take a deep breath and start spilling the beans.

"Okay...I can do this... Here I go..."

Everyone looked at him, waiting.

"Well...it all started when Odin never showed me love, but Thor. I just had the love of Frigga. Whatever I tried...he didn't praise me, like he did with Thor. I have had tried everything, with no success. Soon I stopped and was just...me. Not that he cared. Then he announced that Thor shall be crowned in a month. He wasn't ready. He was just demanding for war and destruction. That is as I planned a plan, to make Odin see his mistake. The Frost Giants bringing into Asgard was the only way. After the coronation was ruined, Thor made me and his friends go to Jotunheim to find answers. But it turned into Thor getting angered and he broke the truce between Jotunheim and Asgard. He declared war. Something I didn't plan and didn't intented to happen. The guard I told about all this, was taking his time. Odin got us and Laufey said Thor declared war and a new truce won't happen. Soon after Thor was banished to Midgard, stripped off of his power and Mjolnir. I also found just then out about my true heritage. After that I was testing it on the Casket of Acient Winters and Odin told me that I was taken trom Jotunheim to be a truce offering. Nothing more, nothing less. I was a Frost Giant, the son of Laufey. I lost it that day and screamed at Odin that it all made just now sense. Right after I was done letting my anger out, he fell into the Odinsleep and I had to take over the throne for him."

Loki looked down as he told them that. Thor also did, remembering his wrongs and regretting them now. He did this to his Babybrother. This was his doing. His and Odin's.

"I turned corrupted. I never wanted Thor back at first, but later on I decided to help him out of his banishment. I let his friends go to Midgard and talk with Thor, then I sent the Destroyer, causing destruction on Midgard. I knew that he will just get his powers back, if he offers himself for people below him. After he said that I can do whatever I want with him, but have to leave the Midgardians alone, I had to break his neck, to break the curse for ever. It was lifted, he had his powers and Mjolnir back and he destroyed the Destroyer. Then I decided to let Laufey inside and let him enjoy a minute of being over Odin, then I killed him and planned of destroying Jotunheim. But Thor was earlier back, than I had hoped and destroyed the Bifrost. We fought and in the end I and Thor ended up hanging on the staff of Odin's scepter. Odin held Thor's foot and I was hanging in the Abyss. I yelled that I could have done it for us all. I hoped he finally would accept me too, but he denied me again. So I choose to let go and die in the Abyss. But I didn't die, as I had hoped..."

Everyone looked at him now in confusion, curiosity and pity. Thor looked at first at Loki shocked, that he actually still helped Thor get back, what he wanted. Then he looked pained and guilty at his brother. He made him, with Odin, let go and fall. Frigga didn't talk with him and Odin even once after his 'death'.

"That was the day when I met THEM and mostly HIM. Thanos and the Black Order Aka Children of Thanos. They demanded from me to join them and cause destruction, chaos, terror and death. I refused. I was thinking 'What could they do to me anyways ? I am a God. And a Frost Giant.' But I was learning the worst torture in my whole life. I got tortured for almost 1 whole year and 4 months, in your time, in the time I was there as prisoner it felt like 1000 years. I got set in flames, electroduced, whipped with razor whips, broken bones, never got food, water or even one second rest. I went insane and broke. I begged them to stop as I broke and they decided my word, to never betray them, wasn't enough. They put me firstly under mindcontrol and then trained me, made me stronger. Then I was sent to Midgard and the rest you know. I killed like a Lunatic and everything. Like a Monster."

They all looked at Loki, flabbergasted. He had tears in his eyes. Thor looked very guilty now. He did this to Loki. He caused this.

"It is a wonder, that I turned a little back to normal. But the night terrors stay with me. I almost never sleep. And when I sleep, just for 2 hours or less."

"You have a Trauma.", Bruce concluded.

Loki nodded softly at that. Thor looked at him in pure horror, then it turned into white, blind rage and pure sadness. He wasn't there. He wasn't there for his Babybrother, when he needed him the most. He rather believed him dead and that was what he got back ! The old Loki died and the new one came back ! He was such a fool !!

"Where is Thanos now ?", he asked coldly.

Loki looked at Thor.

"I do not know..."

"On the way far away from Asgard and to a very empty part of the universe. Right now Asgard and Loki have a few more years to live. But it won't be long. Maybe 4 or 5 years, then he will return. He wants the Tesseract. The masked one told me."

Suddenly the masked one appeared in the room.

"And Loki is still under Thanos' control. Not much but a little. He needs a very good knockout. A very hard punch in the face, so he gets unconscious.", he said.

They all jumped up and held their weapons at the masked one. He held his hands up in mock surrender. Suddenly Loki hissed and everyone looked at him. As Loki looked up, his eyes were an icy blue instead of forest green. The masked one sprinted to him and gave him a hard knockout. Loki fell backwarts and into the couch. Unconscious.

"You are very welcome. Thanos tried to invade Loki's mind and find out what our plan is and what he is doing. Now the connection shall be broken for good.", the masked one told them.

"So it really never was Loki at all ?", Clint asked.

"Loki is the God of Mischief. Not of Death and Horror.", the masked one deadpanned.

"You just saved us all.", Steve said.

"Don't sweat it. We are still enemies. Also...tell Loki that he has to show them the file. It really is time for them to know everything."

Destiny nodded and with that the masked one disappeared.

"Tell us what ? What file ? What did they mean with everything ?", Tony asked confused as fuck.

"Thanos and his Army.", was all Destiny and Daniela answered.
