Back 2 U (Jaeyong)

"Jae, baby how are you doing?" His mom greets him as soon as he enters the house. He stares blankly at her then looks down.
"I thought you were just mad again and stayed at a friends I was worried, I even had the police out looking for you." She sniffles and wipes her eyes.
"Taeyong's mom called me. I, I can't even fathom how hard this is for her and you. I'm sorry this happened. He doesn't deserve that kind of treatment, he is literally the sweetest.."
She stops when Jaehyun collapses in her arms, sobbing hysterically, needing nothing more than his mothers love at the moment.
"I'm sorry, I should have called. I couldn't think straight. He, he was so hurt and I." He pulls away and starts throwing things until she hugs him from behind and pins his arms. She drags him to the couch, which is pretty easy since he's weakened quite a bit now.
"Baby, you are an angel. I hope you know that. You did everything in your power and that's all anyone could ask for." She plays with his hair and shushes him to try to calm him.
Eventually his exhaustion catches up with him and he falls asleep in her arms.
When she's able to get up she cleans the little bit of mess he made and covers him with a blanket.

After getting a good nap in, Jaehyun feels so much better. The doctors have decided to keep Taeyong a few more days to keep an eye on some things so he is bringing Yuta and Sicheng in to see him.
When he hears the knock his nerves spike again, he looks down trying to control the tremble in his hands. Jaehyun walks up first and holds one of his shaking hands in his own as Yuta and Sicheng go to the other side of the bed. Taeyong only looks up when a big soft stuffed bunny is laid across his lap. It's pink with floppy ears and he loves it. His eyes sparkle just like a child's and he looks up to Jaehyun who set it down.
"Something for you to cuddle with when you're lonely." He says this with pink cheeks as Yuta and Sicheng chuckle because he wouldn't step foot in the hospital today without the perfect gift.
"Thank you, I love it so much." He lifts it and hugs it and smiles cutely while the others are awing over him because he is so cute.
"Thank you for coming." He whispers as he looks up trying to make eye contact with the others.
"I-I'm sorry, for being so horrible to you guys." Yuta hugs him softly.
"We're sorry we didn't help you sooner." He says choking up. Sicheng comes up for a hug as well and cries on his shoulder.
"You have to know you can trust us, all of us, with anything at anytime that may be troubling you. We are here for you and I'm sorry too, I should have done something."
After a while when they can see that Taeyong is more comfortable with them they pull some chairs up and play some card games until it's time for Taeyong to rest.
When they start to head out Taeyong hugs them both.
"Congratulations, I hope you guys are happy together." They smile at each other softly.
"Thanks but we're not official or anything yet." Yuta looks at Sicheng who looks away shyly.
"Still, it's nice to see you two together."
After everything calms down again Jaehyun stands and tucks Taeyong in and kisses his forehead before putting the bunny in his arms.
"I thought this was for when I'm lonely? Are you leaving too?" Jaehyun smiles softly.
"No but since I can't cuddle you you'll have to use him." Taeyong smiles and holds Jaehyun's free hand.
"I really missed you, you know? Every morning my motivation for anything was you. I couldn't wait to see you no matter what the day. When you left, a part of me left too and I can slowly feel myself become whole again." Jaehyun is struck by Taeyong's words, so much so that he leans over and softly kisses his lips. Taeyong is surprised but in a good way. He always feels a comforting warmth radiating off the other.
"I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't have done that yet." Taeyong feels his face heat up at his choice of words but shakes his head.
"It's more than ok." He snuggles in again and Jaehyun strokes his thumb on his hand and hums a song while he watches Taeyong fall asleep.
