In the Town of Greensburghm any spirits often lurk. But the most known of these spirits lurks in a glade two miles away from town known as sleepy hollow. Many have seen this spirit and describe him as a figure on horseback and historians say he is most likely a hessian soldier from the revolutionary war. The one trait that makes this figure so memorable is his missing head. The figure can be seen riding from the church grounds to the scene of the battle every night in a constant search for his missing head. The locals have taken to calling him the headless horseman might take their heads to replace his own.
