"Welcome to the Superhero Carnival!" Viv grinned, before the magical lights that engulfed her hands when she collapsed a week or so earlier, danced and swirled around her in a frenzy of fun, hiding her entirely for a moment before her outfit transformed and the smiled on her face widened.

She wore a pristine white cropped blazer with gold and black details, and a ruby red cape hooked onto the shoulders. Inside, she wore a yellowish-white frilly shirt and cravat with a diamond pattern red and yellow vest. The shirt disappeared under the vest and tucked into her fancy black slacks. Instead of tucking the ends of her pants into her shoes uncomfortably, she had let them flow down, just barely showing off her chunky high-heeled platform boots. And a tall crimson top hat, matching her extravagant cape, rested on her head as her hair flowed out of it. She grinned at the group which stared back in awe as she leaned on the red cane in her hands.

"Come on, this is kinda cool." She smiled shyly.

"You said that you went a little overboard but this..." Jordan started.

"What the fuck, Vivi." Edgar teased.

"Edgar, I swear to God, I will beat you to death with this cane!" Viv said, raising it in mock anger.

"Woah! Okay, okay, just explain the bloody circus already!" Edgar says, putting his hands in front of him and taking a step back when she grabbed the came like a sword.

Vivi. It's a nickname no one's heard before, except Viv, Edgar and maybe Jordan by the way he's smiling. It's obvious how close the three of them are, and no one understands why. Sure, Viv and Jordan dated and they were pretty serious, but after everything that they went through they should hate each other.

Loki, who was at the back of the group and a little uncomfortable at the sight of Viv and Jordan, earned a nudge and a smirk from Thor. Unwilling to make a scene, Loki responded by rolling his eyes and ignoring his older brother.

"Well, Ria is a massive superhero fan, so I put together a little something. You've all got your own little attractions. So, Clint and Nat have an archery and shooting stall, all fake of course. Steve and Bucky, you have the dunk tank and yes, you will both have to go in at some point. Thor and Bruce have the high striker, Tony and Rhodey have the bumper cars, Vision and Sam have a light show, and Wanda and Lo have a magic tent." Viv finished, proud of what she had organised.

"Most-- actually, I think all of the stalls are at least partially automated so you guys don't have to man your stations, but you're superheroes, so it'd be nice if you guys said 'hi' to Viv and Morgan while they went around. You're free to play the games too, by the way." Viv smiled.

"But Loki isn't a superhero," Thor said jokingly.

"Like hell he isn't, didn't he help save Asgard from your sister?" Viv retorted smugly, and Loki almost smiled at how she considered him a hero.

"Anyways, as for the rest of you, Marsh, you're gonna have to handle the popcorn and churros stand," Viv said.

"Done." Marsh smiled.

"Gene, you're on drinks. No alcohol for the kids, accidentally or otherwise." Viv warned sternly, but a smile made its way onto her face.

"I would never." He said, placing a hand over his heart.

"Phee, Kat and I get to go around with the girls but if you need help, don't hesitate to ask. And that just leaves you two." Viv said, looking down at Edgar and Jordan.

"Oh no..." Jordan rolled his eyes.

"Well, you two are the stars of the show. I imagine Ria will want to spend all her time with you two so as soon as I introduce you, you get to meet your daughter and niece." Viv said.

"Is there a costume?" Edgar asked with a grin.

"There isn't...unless you want one--"

"Nope! No thank you." Jordan said, cutting off Viv's joking remark.

"Alright then. You guys can roam around take a look at your stalls, I'll get Pepper to bring the girls over."

...

"Okay, Pep just called, they're outside. Jordan, Edgar, come on!" Viv said, and the two boys stood behind her before she placed a big purple cloud of smoke in front of them.

Viv walked up to the door and opened it up as Pepper told Ria and Morgan to open their eyes.

Both girls excitedly looked around them and at the place Viv had prepared, seeing Ria's mom smiling down at them, dressed to the nines in fun clothing.

"Welcome to the Superhero Carnival, and Happy Birthday Ariel!" Viv said, picking her up and giving her a kiss on the cheek as she giggled.

"Thank you, Mommy!" Ria cheered as Viv put her down.

"That's alright, Ri. Now, first order of business, you're about to meet someone. Well, two people." Viv said, leading Morgan and Ria towards the purple cloud.

"Ria, I employed Morgan here to help me out with the preparations. And she mentioned how interested you were in your father." Viv said gently, making Ariel's eyes widen in anticipation.

"So, I decided, maybe it was time...also, I brought an extra guest with him," Viv said, and she heard Edgar mumble something from behind the smoke.

Viv waved her hand and the smoke slowly cleared, letting Ria take a good look at the two men standing behind it.

"Ria...meet Jordan and Edgar. Your father and uncle."

And everyone went silent for a moment.
