It Was Luck At First Sight

chapter 3

2 weeks later

Hajime's pov:

Its been 2 weeks since I started at hopes peak academy. I still feel awkward around some of the people here. After all I don't really have a talent; but now is not the time to doubt yourself.
At the moment I'm eating lunch by the field waiting for Komaeda he's been avoiding me for the past week thanks to Kazuichi and Teruteru, who forced me to go to the beach just so they could spy on the girls who made plans to go there. Unfortunately for me I had no choice but to go with them due to their consistent begging. I just didn't know that Nagito would be with them.

Flashback

Great just great I'm stuck on a beach with my classmates who are to hetero to function spying on my other class mates. "Hey Hajime! What are you doing here?" Wait was that Nagito's voice? I was caught off guard by a cold hand being placed on my shoulder. I turned around to see Komaeda In nothing but his swimming shorts(whatever they're called). I must have blushed the colour of a strawberry. He looked at me with  worry in his eyes, "Are you ok Hinata-kun? You look like a tomato right now!" I couldn't really say much because of how flustered I was, "S-so hot!" That was all I could think about. I think I said it out loud though due to Komaeda blushing just as much as I was.

End of flashback

And he's been avoiding me since.
It's like some teen romance program you find on television, where the girl runs away from the guy due to the embarrassment of people finding out that she has a crush on the guy. To be honest I never really got those shows and Nagito definitely doesn't have a crush on me either. Could it be because I called him hot or the fact that I was there to spy on our classmates because of Teruteru and Kazuichi? I'm still not sure bit I will definitely talk to him today my plan will work. I hope.

Nagito's pov:

It's not impossible to fall for a guy you've only known for 2 weeks. Right? I mean you get to know a person's personality in the first few days so it's not that impossible. If you're wondering what or rather who I'm talking about I will clarify for you now that I'm talking about Hinata-kun . You see I've been avoiding him due to the soul purpose of me having a crush on him. He just looks so adorable when he gets flustered but I know he's straight. I saw him with Teruteru and Kazuichi staring at some of the girls in our class at the beach, plus who would want to be seen with trash like me. However he did call me hot. No brain, shut up he was saying that about the girls not me he's not into me.
