Niall's eyes lit up upon hearing you say those words. "Really?" He says, "then would you consider giving us a shot?" You thought hard about it for a while before coming up with an answer. "Niall, I think... You're hot and all. I also think I'm out of your league. And it's too early to be serious about all of these. Having said those... I'd like to say that maybe we should wait a little longer." Niall purses his lips. "Oh wow, alright. I didn't expect that. But I'm glad you're honest with me." You smile at him, "of course. I have no reason to lie to you." Niall took your hand and said, "Y/N, I really like things to work out between us. I know our start hadn't been all that great, I mean," he looks down and chuckles, "we met at a frat party. But I want you to know that I'm really pushing for this to work." A smile gradually forms in your lips. "Thank you, Niall. We'll see how it goes. I like you too. I mean, who wouldn't? Look at you." He smiles shyly. Just as you were about to say something else, you hear a boisterous laugh from behind and you quickly snap your heard towards the sound. The blond, scarcely clad woman steps inside the restaurant, her arms around Michael's. He didn't see you, but the girl did. Upon the awkward eye contact, she whispers something to Michael, but you slowly turn your head-and attention-back to Niall, who was looking at Michael like some piece of meat. "Who's she?" You ask Niall. "Victoria. She's my ex. And it appears she's planning to break your bestfriend apart. Warn him." You nod slowly as Niall tells you how Victoria is a 'dangerous' woman, as he put it. As you got home, you didn't know what to do with the information Niall just told you. You also didn't know if you could trust him, but he seems so well into the topic that you instinctively believed what he said insofar.
