*6 months later*
The heat is prickling, urging you to know that it's summer. As you pack your things, you came across a photo of you and Niall in the Giants Crossway in Ireland which made you burst into tears... again. Last month, Niall met an accident that took his life. You were both frustrated at each other, so Niall took off. You didn't bother to follow him because you were just so mad. Everything just feels like it was yesterday when you try to reminisce the moment when Diana called you and asked you to come to the hospital. He was in a terrible state-broken everything and internal bleeding. A truck lost its brakes and slammed into him. It was one of the weakest moments in your life; Niall dying like that. Michael was in the hospital when it happened, waiting for their baby boy to be born. During his funeral, you had to wear shades all day long despite the cloudy ambiance. You were literally bawling your eyes out every time you hear Niall's name. You never thought the last time you'd see him will be you two in a fight. For the past month, you can still feel Niall's presence in the dorm. His dorky laugh, thick accent, quirky comments, and adorable smile. Niall can make you happy in an instant during your darkest days-midterms and finals, and now... it seems like it all fell apart, everything.

Today, you're going back to Sydney for summer break. You're not sure what to feel because Niall is supposed to be with you to meet your parents. You took a different photo of you and Niall and decided to bring that one home instead. Diana drove you to the airport, and you hugged her goodbye as you left. Life goes on, you thought. But as of now, yours has probably stopped. And you don't know when it'll move again.
