"Why didn't you just tell me you're going to Ireland?" Michael whispers through gritted teeth as both of you walk towards the beach. The boys already made their way, leaving you and Michael behind. "I don't know why it's important to you, Michael. I just don't want to fight about it anymore." You say, hoping to dismiss the issue. "Nothing. I just thought that you'd tell me. I am your best friend." Michael shrugs. "Alright. Niall asked me to be his girlfriend two months ago. I thought I'd give him a chance, you know. He never disappeared by my side ever since you left. And if you're immensely wondering," you smile, "I haven't given him my V-card" Michael smirks, but you added "YET. I'm thinking maybe when I go to Ireland." Michael purses his lips and scratches the back of his head. He looks as if he was about to say something else, but he slowly nods and suddenly pulls you alongside him as he made a run towards the beach. "Mikey!!" You squeal. When both of you reach the beach, the boys have already laid out the blankets and Ashton is already making a run for the waves. Michael lifts you off the ground and carries you effortlessly on his back, dropping you in the water. "Michael!!!" You shout, laughing at him. He lets you pull him to the water. You slosh salty water all over him and made a run for it, to Ashton. "Hide me from Michael!" You scream. Ashton laughs as he engulfed you in a tight hug and he turns you away from Michael. You had to catch your breath because your stomach is hurting from laughter. "Give me my girl back!" Michael rides on Ashton's perfectly toned back, freeing you from Ashton's hug. Michael immediately grabs ahold of you and pulls you towards him. You stop at your tracks when you tilt your head up and see Michael looking at you with a huge smile on his face as his chest heaves up and down from the adrenaline. You slowly put your hand on his chest and bite your lip, pretending to lean in to kiss him. When Michael puckered his lips and closed his eyes, you push him to the water and ran towards the shore. It had been an awesome day because you and Michael decided to put everything aside and just enjoy the moment. Once Ashton stopped in front of your house, he looks at you. Ashton and you were the only ones left. "Y/N, you know... I noticed something today." He says, smiling that soul-crushingly beautiful smile of his. "What?" You reply. "I don't know maybe it's just me, but I see you and Michael as more than best friends. I saw something more between both of you today. You're so happy with him." You let out a meek smile. "We just grew up together, Ash. He's like a brother to me." You say. "No. This one is different. Trust me. I've known both of you ever since High School. It's just different. I just hope you make the right choices, Y/N. I don't want you to be anything but happy. You're family to us now." Grinning, you hugged Ashton tight. "Thank you, Ash." You say, exiting his car.
