As you got home, you didn't know what to do with the information Niall just told you. You also didn't know if you could trust him, but he seems so well into the topic that you instinctively believed what he said insofar. As Michael got home that night, you were typing your homework on the upper bunk of your bed. Since both Michael and you want a larger room, both of you decided to get a room for four people, that explains the two double deck beds across each other. "You're home early. I thought you're going home with Niall?" He says. "Nah, I came back here to tell you something." You start, "are you and Victoria dating?" Michael snorts, "it's nothing serious, Y/N. Don't worry about me." "I have all the reasons to worry, Michael. Victoria is Niall's ex." You say, "she's... She'll just use you for sex, Michael. She's a courtesan." "Oh really?" He says skeptically. "Michael I can't help but be worried." "I'm fine." He says, dismissing you. "Okay." You say. You went back to your laptop as Michael prepares himself some coffee. "Do you want coffee?" He asks. "I'm good, thanks." You say. Michael brews the meanest coffees, but you just really didn't feel like talking to him now. You don't know whether you're actually worried or just jealous that Michael's attention is heading towards someone else and being diverted away from you. You really didn't know what you're typing because you're too preoccupied with the matter. Being the conditionally whimsical person that you are, you suddenly say, "Michael, I'm considering moving rooms." You slowly bite your lip. "Where? It's perfect here. Wide room for both of us." He replies, pouring the coffee. "Just... next door." "Nope." He says, instantly knowing where you wanted to move. "Why not?" You say, "you did say before that I could-" "Let's not start with this again, Y/N. You're not moving. Your dad asked me to watch out for you and that's what I'm going to do." He cuts you off. You feel your heart soften. "You... went to dad?" You've always been daddy's little girl, which is why you've always had a soft spot for your dad. But then things got out of hand when he got accused of drug trafficking, when a friend of his used him as bait. He just got out of jail a few months before you graduated High School and now he lives with your mum again. "Yeah, I went to see your parents before we left town and they told me to watch over you so that's exactly what I'm going to do. So I'm not letting you go, Y/N." You look at him from your bunk, and you see his jaw clench as he stares back at you.
