The loud blow of the alarm startles you awake. It's your last day in Sydney today, and tomorrow you'll be on your way to Ireland. Michael is standing outside your balcony, McDonald's pancakes on hand. "Just figured you need breakfast" he says, making his way inside your room. "Good morning to you too," you greet. "You could've just gone through the front door, Mikey." You stifle a laugh. "Well I want it to be spontaneous. Why do you care?" He snarks as he whips out the fresh pancakes from the paper bag. "Hmmm..." You close your eyes and follow the sweet aroma of freshly cooked pancakes. After two steps, you fell in front of Michael. "Oh." You burst out from laughter, "sorry." You try to get up, but Michael held your wrists and placed it just above his thigh, whilst you straddle him. Your lips tug up into a smile, because Michael is just so happy this morning. "I've been meaning to tell you some things." He starts, "but you know... I'm still on the verge of not telling them because, you know... It could change a lot." He says, his expression suddenly changed into something more serious. "Promise me, you wouldn't judge?" He says. "Michael, it hurts me a bit that you think I would judge you. You're my best friend for twelve years, nothing you do can make me think differently of you." You reply, cupping his adorable face. "Okay." Michael inhales sharply. "I took a lot of thinking into this... I just hope you don't get mad." You smile slightly. That's when Michael dropped the bomb. "I'm going to be a dad!" He says, his expression mildly worried and amused at the same time. His face is still happy, nonetheless. But you... you just felt your heart shatter into bits and pieces. You've always dreamt of Michael being the number one uncle for your kids... or maybe even their dad. But this revelation is just too much to handle. "S-since when?" Your voice was a soft whisper. "You remember that girl I had a quickie with on the plane?" His voice is equally as soft. "Her name is Camille. She just contacted me last night, said she got my details from the airline. It was weird, though... because I thought they don't give out personal passenger information? But maybe it's just too urgent of a situation." Michael takes a deep breath, "she's now 16 weeks in." You got off Michael and sat on the edge of the table. Michael crossed his ankles on his knee and looks at you with utmost expectation. "Well? What do you think I should do?" He asks. "Well... I think you should keep the child." It breaks you to say it, but you did anyway. "Although I did imagine you being my kids' number one uncle. Too bad they have been preceded." You add. Michael stood up and hugged you tight. "Don't worry, Y/N. I'll still be their number one Michael the Uncle." You laugh at his own nickname. But then, you could only hope that what Michael said is true.
