"Why do you keep looking back from where we came from?" Shoto asked me confused, I bowed my head in embarrassment.

"I left my notebook with angry pomeranian, now I can't talk to other people till I get it back, but I don't know where he is..."

"Who's angry pomeranian?"

"Bakugou..."

I said cringing a little at the nicknames I have given people, Shoto had a small smile. "Want me to go get it for you?" I shook my head looking at Shoto, "No it's ok, I'll get it back tomorrow." Shoto nodded and we went to go sit down in the stands together so we could watch our classmates' fight as we waited for our turn. Up first was Midoriya, he was fighting against Shinsou, a boy from hero course 1-B, I wonder who will win. Shinsou seemed to talk to Midoriya, I couldn't read his lips due to the distance but when Midoriya answered him he completely froze almost as if he was taken control of.

Maybe that's Shinsou's quirk? Mind manipulation...? Midoriya just then started to walk towards the border with a blank stare in his eyes, Uraraka ran up to the railing and seemed to be yelling at him, I would too if I could. I was worried that Midoriya would walk out of bounds automatically giving the win to Shinsou without a fight but just as my doubt was getting to me, Midoriya's finger just barely moved causing a giant gust of wind to blow.

My hair covered my face due to all the strong wind and I frantically tried moving my hair out of my face, a mysterious hand started to help me brush the hair out of my face. I was finally able to see again, I looked up to see who it was that had helped me and to my surprise, it was Bakugou he had a smirk on his face. I stiffened in surprise.

"Thank you Bakugou."

"Nerd."

That was all he said and walked off, my notebook in his hand and a bigger smirk on his face. I had to take a double-take, did he just sign!? I blushed hard, how did he know sign language!? How much does he know!? I had so many questions run through my head, my heart was racing and my thoughts immediately stopped. Why is my heart racing? Do I like Bakugou? Or am I just happy another classmate knows sign language? More questions began running through my head, I looked back at the arena and saw that Midoriya had won, I got so happy to see him win, I felt proud. Shoto came back from the bathroom and sat next to me.

"What'd I miss?"

"Midoriya won!" I said happily with a huge smile. Shoto sighed and got up, I looked at him confused.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm up next."

"Good luck Sho! Not that you'll need it."

I smiled at him, he smiled back and left. I was very confident that Shoto will win this round and make it to the next, all the way up to the finals, even if it means for me to lose so he can win. Midoriya walked up to Uraraka and I with bandages wrapped around his fingers, like always. "You won! Congrats!" I said happily and hugged him tightly. I let go of the hug and saw his face he had a slight blush and was rubbing the back of his neck with a nervous smile, I could only assume it followed a nervous laugh. "Thanks, I'm nervous about who else I have to fight though." Uraraka said something to him with a look of determination on her face, this made him blush harder.
