It's been a few days now, sometimes I will catch myself reading that one conversation Bakugou and I had when he and I were stuck in the classroom when the press got into the school. I didn't understand why he was so nice but distant to me but when it came to our classmates he was mean. No matter how many times I had thought about it, I just couldn't come up with an explanation.

Does he pity me because I can't hear? Did Sho threaten him to be nice to me? I couldn't wrap my head around it and I needed to understand, it was beginning to drive me crazy. The only person I could think about going to for boy trouble was my older sister. I would've gone to Shoto but Bakugou is our classmate and I think Shoto is friends with him so I don't want him to look at him weirdly. I would've gone to my other older brother, Natsuo, as well, but he was out with his friends.

I walked to Fuyumi's room and gently knocked on the door. A few seconds delay and she opened the door, she saw me and smiled so I happily returned the favor. I walked in and she closed the door, I sat on her bed and watched her come over to sit on her bed as well. I made room for her and she sat down.

"What's up?"

"I need help understanding a classmate of mine..."

"Boy trouble?"

I nodded my head and handed her the notebook that he and I would chat in. After that time when he and I were in the class, we would chat through my book a little bit more. "Seems to me like he likes you and is in denial or just doesn't realize it. Total tsundere, just give him time." She handed me my notebook back, I nodded and smiled. Sitting up I thanked her and left her room feeling a lot better about his feelings towards me.

I just hope Fuyumi is right...

It's now time for the sports festival, Aizawa had stopped me before I went into the changing room to get ready. I turned around curious as to why he had stopped me, I don't think I have done anything wrong...wait..have I!?

"The school has decided based on the fact that you cannot hear, you cannot participate in the sports festival."

This made me furious, just because I can't hear doesn't mean I can't do some dumb sports festival! I hate being treated like I'm in a wheelchair or paralyzed all because I can't hear anymore! I know my doctors say I can't be a hero because I can't hear anymore but I want to prove them all wrong. I 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 prove them all wrong.

"That isn't fair! Just because I can't hear anymore doesn't mean I'm incapable of being a hero! Just look at my scores! I'm always tied with my brother or above him!"

"I'll see what I can do, stay here."

I smiled and nodded as he caved into my very factual response. I waited for about a minute till I saw Aizawa come back with his usual monotone tired-looking face. "They made an exception seeing as you are always top three of your classes." I jumped up and down and fist-bumped the air with joy knowing that they're letting me participate.

I got so excited I hugged Aizawa, he hesitantly hugged me back, his body was stiff. It was clear he was confused and uncomfortable so I let go, thanked him again, and went into the changing room, I got changed into my P.E uniform and waited with everyone else in the arena. On the stage was Mic along with other people, Mic seemed to be talking so I had assumed he was introducing the classes and explaining what was going on.

Living in a household with a father who refused to use sign language along with going to an all-hearing school with about four or so people knowing how to sign, I began to gain the skill of reading lips. Which helped me a lot when I had to guess what was happening. Just then Bakugou left my side and walked up to the stage, I had completely forgotten he was the class representative.

He talked into the microphone and based on the class's reactions he said something stupid and selfish again. I turned to Sho for a quick summary of what happened, he must've read my mind.

"We're doing obstacles, also Bakugou called us stepping stones so he could win."

"Wanna team up and win together, twin style?"

He nodded with a faint smirk on his face. Growing up Shoto and I would do everything together, our bond was extremely strong. When he tried shutting me out as he did with Fuyumi and Natsuo, I refused. I was constantly bugging him like a younger sibling would till he gave up. We all lined up at the beginning of the obstacle race we had to do for the first challenge. Luckily for me, my endurance was phenomenal. Shoto and I teamed up so we could win together and impress our father so one of us wasn't compared to the other. Everyone started running and shoving so I took this as the signal to start.

Shoto froze the ground causing everyone to become stuck. Well not everyone, quite a few people got out, but it was enough for us to be in the lead. Shoto and I ran to the next section, there were a few of those zero-pointer robots that were at the entrance exam. Shoto and I looked at each other and nodded. I froze them at an unstable angle so they would fall if anybody took a wrong move. We ran past, Shoto said something to the people behind us so I had assumed he had warned them. That was nice of him, they could've gotten killed if he didn't warn them.

I saw Bakugou fly over us from using his explosion quirk, a smirk on his face. We made it to the next obstacle, tight ropes? How would we get past this? Just then I got the idea to freeze the ropes and slide across, Shoto did the same on his rope. I didn't bother unfreezing them because that would be helping out the people behind us and we wanted to win. Bakugou launched himself over the ropes with his quirk. Shoto, Bakugou, and I made it to the last obstacle. Some signs were labeled:

'𝑊𝑎𝑟𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔.'

'𝐿𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠!'

'𝑊𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑢𝑡!'

This worried me, so I followed Shotos lead, a lot of people had caught up now. Bakugou flew over Shoto and I again. However he landed next to Shoto and I and it was a race for first place between the three of us, just then once we were almost at the finish line I felt something slam me to the ground with a sharp and hard pain. I looked up and saw Midoriya flying past us on a sheet of metal. He must have gotten it from the robots back in the second obstacle, I quickly got up and used my fire quirk to make an explosion to propel me over the finish line, and so it did.

Midoriya got first place, I got second place, Bakugou got third, and Shoto got fourth.
