She whined and complained as she strode slowly and kicked around. It was her turn to get them dinner for them.

It's been a few days she had moved in with Swati. Lectures for the first year wasn't going to begin til the next week but she was trying to settle.

No matter how she complained, Swati coerced a routine on them. One of which included taking turns to pick up something for dinner.

It was already evening and the sky getting was quite dark. The takeout restaurant was a short walk from their room but she considered it terribly long.

She mused on how much she was going to make Swati pay for making her walk that long.

Despite her complaints and whining, Swati still managed to force her to go, accusing her of being lazy.

She was elated when she saw the  sign, "Ziya restaurant" knowing her stride was coming to an end.

Walking in, the interior decor was moderate but right on point. Only a few people were present. Since it was a take out, hardly anyone stayed or ate there. She looked around as she walked towards the counter to place an order.

It was almost quiet aside the table by a side. They laughed indiscreetly and without any care that there were people who actually wanted peace and quiet while eating.

She could make out four boys, obviously from the college. She rolled her eyes and walked further.

"Good evening, miss."

"Good evening, I want to order a take out."

"Oh, here you go, make a pick." He handed her a menu card.

She sat waiting for the arrival of her order. She didn't regret being the one to pick up dinner because after viewing the menu, she decided to have a late lunch before picking the takeout. It wasn't her fault that she found food irresistible.

The rising laughter made her turn to the table it was coming from. Sure enough, they must have been jobless to spend their whole time laughing loudly and unfortunately disturbing others in the process.

Her wandering eyes came to a halt on seeing one of them. The black haired guy  looked familiar but she couldn't tell from where. Her curious mind made her stare too long, longer than she intended to.

She wanted to figure out where she had  seen him, she was so sure she had seen him somewhere before.

She watched his every movement, a brunette walked up to them and she sat on his laps.

Their laughter increased momentarily but she was least interested. He turned and her eyes met his. They were a light shade of brown, she could make it out even from a distance.

"Here you go." The waiter's voice  got her attention as she turned to him. She realized that she had been caught staring and made a mental note not to mention in that direction til she left.

"Thank you." She replied as he placed the food on the table and offered him a smile as he walked away nodding.

Not long after she begun, her phone vibrated in her pocket and she reached into her pocket to get it.

Swati: Are you lost or just deliberately attempting to kill me through starvation ?

She laughed softly reading the text.
"Well, I am kinda lost." She muttered to herself giggling at Swati's plight.

Swati: Unlike some people, I didn't have lunch. When do you intend on getting back?
