"Okay, time out." She tried to steady her breaths as he helped her come down from the thread mill. "How long did I last?" She said out of breath.

"Longer." He said as he checked the time and she smiled.

"But for next time, focus your weight more on the center of your body. It helps." Mohan added, "But I need to go now. I'll see you later, bye!"

"Bye!" She waved him as he left. She enjoyed spending her free time in the gym and usually bumped into Mohan there, so he coached her most of the time.

It had been days since she'd seen Shaurya. Not that she hadn't seen him. But she had skillfully avoided him seeing her.

It was not in her intention to avoid him but after seeing Shruti's over possessiveness, she thought it was wise to stay away. She couldn't deny that she missed him, even his annoying nature.

She dropped the thought and decided to continue what she was doing.

"And who exactly is he?" She instantly recognized the voice but she didn't turn.

"It's not nice to ignore people." His words halted her attempt to walk away. She turned to see him walking towards her.

"We need to talk." He was firm and his voice was rid of any humour. "I have no interest in speaking to you." She moved backwards seeing as he was already in front of her.

"And why is that?" He moved closer and she retreated backwards further.

"Don't take another step, Shaurya." She warned gesturing him not to come any closer and keep the distance but he only kept moving closer. She continued moving backwards. "Don't tell me what to do, Mehek."

"I don't want to talk to you, Shaurya, don't you get it?" She cursed under her breath when she felt the hard wall behind her, signifying that there was no where she could walk to as he was already right in front of her.

"No, I don't get."

"It counts as your problem, not mine." She tried to pass the side but he put his hands at both sides of her, pinning her to the wall.

"You can't force me to talk to you." She didn't like at all how close he was to her as it made her breaths unsteady. She looked everywhere but at him.

"What changed, Mehek? I thought you said we were cool and everything was fine."
She did. But she had just been thinking, it was better to clear off than cause unnecessary problems. "Just let me go." She spoke softly.

"And who the hell is that guy that follows you around?" She instantly knew he was referring to Mohan.

She had been bumping into him a lot lately, he was her sister's course mate but still, her friend. That's when she realized that he had actually been seeing her all these past days.

"He doesn't follow me around. And it's none of your business." She tried to be rude but her voice was betraying her as she spoke softly.

"I make it mine." He was annoyed at her behavior. At first, he thought she was just too busy, but in later days, he realized that she was just avoiding him.

"He's a friend. I told you now please just leave me alone." She tried to push him away but he held both her hands and pinned them to the wall.

"Shaurya please...." Her chest heaved as her breathing was slowly getting out of control at how close they now were. "People are looking at us, Shaurya, please... I don't want to be seen with you." She pleaded softly.
