I was in the lounge thinking about whatever happened today. I went to Nandini's to ask about her whereabouts and made an excuse of coming to meet Sir. But her behaviour was no different. She was once again there to make me realize how far we were. I thought that she might have developed a soft corner for me but no. She was adamant to not even look at me with a bit of affection. Her words and her looks shook something in me. I was lost in my thoughts with football match playing on television when Sidharth marched inside looking like a mad bull.

"What's wrong ?" I asked seeing him too lost to even sit with me for a talk.

"I am talking to you." I raised my voice as he ignored my question. He was out for the entire day coming at night that too in such mood.

"Bro, not now please." He said stopping for a while and I looked into his eyes. He was on the verge of crying. I could see that.

"I am here for you." I reminded him and he looked away before storming into his room.

What happened to him ?

When I went to meet Nandini, at that time it wasn't like they had a fight because she was calm. Although not with me. I was worried for my brother but pushing him now would lead to him getting furious.

After all he is my brother.

I thought it to be because of his fight with one of his friend or Nandini but thinking about her condition, I felt my heart pricking. I moved to my room to welcome the night with no sleep. My mind was too clouded to even rest for a while.

Morning came too soon as I was busy doing some office work on my laptop and taking black coffee every now and then. I quickly got up, changing myself into formals as I had to visit college today. I moved downstairs and at the same time Sidharth also came. He looked vulnerable showing how he did not have a sound sleep, or any sleep at all.

"Lets have breakfast together." I suggested and he nodded settling on the chair opposite to me. The butlers served us our meal and we dug in.

"Bro I am going to Mumbai." He announced and I looked shocked.

"Why all of a sudden.?" I inquired and left my breakfast in the middle.

"I have to look into some matter regarding  my next admission." He said not even making an eye contact.

"You can go after exams also. And moreover we own Space there. You don't have to rush there. You can call and your work will be done." I was sure that there was some other reason behind it.

"It would be too hectic then. I want to settle everything now. And I am thinking to give papers from there only."
He added making me more suspicious. "I think you can do it since you are the owner." He played my card at me and I looked at him baffled. Was he the same Sidharth who was not ready to leave Shimla even after completing his college.

"Sidharth, what is worng with you.?" I asked. I wanted to know.

"Nothing. I need to focus on exams. There are too many distractions here. Can you do it for me, please." He said looking at me for the first time and I could not say no to him. He needed space from something I did not know and I was there to give him that.

"I will handle it." I assured him. "I can also accompany you and we can have some fun there." I was trying to cheer him up. I came here for Nandini but I just could not neglect him. He was my only family.

"No need bro. You stay here and relax. Your workaholic mode with start once you will be in Mumbai." He said trying to sound fine but he was far from it. There was this difference between us. He could never hide his emotions and I could never reflect them.
