*Months later*

Ivory's POV:

Weeks have passed since I drank the Veritaserum. Luckily, my friends, including Draco, have been acting normal again.

"Hey darling." Draco tightly hugged me from behind. I smiled as I turned my head so I could see him, "Hi handsome." He leaned in for a passionate kiss before sitting down beside me.

"Does my girl want to do something fun?", he asked, his tone teasing and filled with intrigue.

"I'm always up for something fun. You know that, Draco." I smirked, giving him another kiss. He rose to his feet, rolling his eyes playfully to the left, a silent signal that he wanted us to leave. We wandered through the corridors, unsure of where he intended to take me. Then, without warning, Draco grabbed my hand and began to run.

"Slow down, Draco! You are going too fast!", I panted, struggling to keep up

"Slow down, Draco! You are going too fast!", I panted, struggling to keep up.

"That's not what you told me last night.", he grinned.

"Really, Draco?!", I exclaimed, incredulous.

He ran outside as fast as he could. The sound of gravel crushing beneath our feet. Dust and sand from the stones covering my white shoes. The weather was perfect for spending a day outside.

"Where are you taking me?", I gasped, breathless from the sprint.

"Look behind you, love.", Draco said, spinning me around.

I jumped right back into his arms after taking a quick look at the sign. "Oh my gosh, are we really going to Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade today?!"

He raised his brows up and down as he bit his lip. Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade always brought back such fond memories. It had been a while since I'd visited either place, and I was excited. Hogsmeade, in particular, was where everyone gets their first school supplies for Hogwarts like wands, robes, books, and so much more.

When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the familiar faces. The atmosphere was so inviting, and the village itself felt incredibly cozy. We started at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley. It was no surprise the shop was packed with people, and we had to maneuver our way through the crowd. It seemed like all the students had the same idea for the day.

As soon as Draco stepped into the shop, following closely behind me, I could hear gasps ripple through the crowd. Looking around, I noticed the anxious and fearful expressions on many faces. It was disheartening to see how people still feared him and his family. Perhaps some of the students had been around when Draco nearly used the forbidden curse on Cedric half a year ago.

Despite the rumors and the tense atmosphere, Draco was nothing like the person others seemed to believe him to be. He was sweet, even if it wasn't always apparent. He was simply incredibly protective of everything and everyone that mattered to him, myself included. Choosing to ignore the whispers, I made my way toward the stairs leading to the second floor.
