If you've made it to the end, thank you so much for reading my first book! I truly hope you enjoyed it :)

All the ideas and concepts in this book were written by me, and if you're interested in using any scenes, please reach out to me first.

If you would like to check out more of my work, I recently posted another story called "In The Shadow Of Him" which is a Draco Malfoy X OC X Theodore Nott Fanfiction.

You might still have some questions or lingering thoughts about the storyline. If that's the case, keep reading the next part below, it might help clear up some things. If not, I would love to hear what you thought of my first book! I'm always open to feedback and suggestions. <3

!Read if you want things cleared up after reading the story!

Ivory Riddle was given the surname "Greenwood" at Hogwarts to conceal her true identity and avoid the stigma attached to the Riddle name. Although rumors about her family occasionally circulated, and she sometimes faced direct questions, she maintained the deception. She was sorted into Gryffindor, but in reality, she shared the cunning and ambition of her Slytherin family. This false placement was part of the façade she carefully upheld, hiding her true nature from those around her.

In this story, Tom Riddle is portrayed as Ivory's older brother, not her father. Tom looks the same as in Chamber of Secrets so not as Voldy ;)

Tom Riddle's desire for vengeance is rooted in deep pain and resentment. Years ago, Ivory was responsible for the death of their sister, an event that left a scar on Tom's soul. His grief turned into a burning need for vengeance, and he set his sights on making Ivory experience the same heart-wrenching loss he had felt. Tom knew that the first person Ivory truly liked was Draco, and so he sought to tear that bond apart. His plan was to make her lose Draco, to break her heart in the same way that his had been shattered. Despite this, Draco isn't some sort of enemy towards Tom Riddle.

When Ivory kissed Draco, she knew it was a mistake, especially given Tom's intentions, but her real feelings overpowered her caution. She acted on love, even though she understood the danger it brought. Draco also falls deeply in love and would even kill for her, something that still scares her.

In Chapter 4, when Draco asks about Ivory's family, she tells him she doesn't have any siblings. It's a lie, but a convenient one. The truth? Her sister died, and it was her fault. But admitting that would mean cracking the carefully controlled image she's built. Draco doesn't need to know what really happened. Letting him think she's alone just makes it easier to keep him close, and to keep her past buried.

In chapter 12/13, Ivory comes dangerously close to revealing her secret while drunk. In the middle of a nightmare about Tom, she murmurs, "But I don't want to..." her voice soft, eyes still closed. Draco has no idea that she's thinking about the task she's been given from her brother and the fear that's slowly consuming her.
Worried and suspicious, he presses her for answers. He wonders if the person in her dream is someone she's secretly involved with, or someone who might hurt her. He even asks if the person is dangerous. Ivory lies when Draco asks if she knows anyone named Tom.
But of course the truth is, she does know a Tom. And he is dangerous.

There is a deliberate parallel between Chapter 15 and Chapter 25 regarding Draco's reflections on his mother. In Chapter 15, Draco explains that his mother, Narcissa, was unaware of the terrible things he had witnessed because she was blinded by her love for Lucius. This moment highlights how love can make someone overlook danger. Draco was blinded by his love for Ivory just like his mother, so he failed to see the danger in her as well.
