*Two weeks later*
Ivory's POV:
I can't believe it has already been two weeks since our arrival at the cottage. Time seems to be flying by, yet every moment spent here has been truly enjoyable. I've cherished every experience, and I wish I could stay here with him forever. We've had so much fun together, including an unforgettable ice skating lesson where I had the chance to teach Draco. That particular story was certainly one to remember!
*Two weeks ago*
Draco's POV:
It was our first day at the cottage. We were cuddled up in bed. I kissed her, and she relaxed into me. We were about to settle in for a Christmas movie, her head resting gently on my chest. Then, without warning, she sprang up from the bed.
"Omg, I have an idea, Draco!", she said.
I raised an eyebrow, a frown forming as I tried to get comfortable again after the sudden shock she gave me. "What's that, love?"
"We should go ice skating!", she exclaimed, already rummaging through her trunk for her snow boots. Before I could respond, she tossed a coat and scarf at me. I couldn't help but scoff. "You're going to have to make up for that," I teased. She smirked and pulled me off the bed by my arm.
Ivory's POV:
I felt so safe and secure with him, a feeling I hadn't expected, especially from Draco. I never imagined he'd have such a soft spot for me, but it was clear he did. I was so excited to go ice skating that I was already putting on my snow boots before he even had a chance to agree.
*On the way to the ice skating rink*
"It's freezing!" I shivered, wrapping my arms around myself for warmth. Draco pulled me even closer, slipping our hands into his pocket. Since the cottage was so isolated, we had to walk quite a distance to reach the nearest village.
When we finally arrived at the ice skating rink, I grabbed a pair of skates for both of us and searched for a bench to sit on. As I looked over at Draco, I noticed he was just staring at the skates, lost in thought.
"Draco come on, put them on!", I laughed, shaking my head.
"I'm not sure how to put these on, Ivory.", Draco admitted, his frustration evident as he watched me slide mine on with ease. His first attempt to stand up went terribly wrong. He almost lost his balance. I couldn't help but burst into laughter, unable to hold it in. People around us started glancing over, probably wondering what was going on. It was impossible to stop laughing as Draco, clearly annoyed, tried to steady himself.
Draco's POV:
I groaned in frustration, "These filthy things are trying to break my ankles!" But when I heard her giggle, it made everything feel a little better. Ivory waddled over to me in her skates, and took my hands to pull me off the bench. "Stop complaining, Draco. It's going to be so much fun.", she teased, her voice full of excitement. I couldn't help but admire her. Smiling, I leaned down and kissed her gently on the forehead.
As soon as we stepped onto the ice, I almost slipped again. She had already skated away, making spins, and doing amazing tricks. Watching her skate with the wind blowing through her hair and that smile on her face left me in awe. Her grace on the ice, the way she made it look so effortless, it made my jaw drop. In that moment, I felt incredibly lucky. This is my special girl.
