*Two months later in July, Summer Holiday*
Ivory's POV:
There are only a few classes left until we have our summer holiday. During Charms, Harry sat beside me, and we quietly worked on our assignments. Draco passed by the classroom, his gaze briefly landing on me. "Keep your hands off, Pottah," he muttered under his breath as he walked past.
I sighed and shook my head. "Just ignore him, Harry. He has been like this all day."
"He is probably going to miss you over summer break. Or... are you planning to spend the summer with Malfoy?" Harry asked.
"His father insisted he returns home... without me." I replied. The truth was, I didn't even know if Draco had even asked whether I could come. Maybe he just lied, claiming his father didn't want his son bringing a girlfriend along.
"Maybe it's for the best.'' Harry said.
"What do you mean?" I frowned.
Before he could respond, Professor Flitwick interrupted, "Do you two want to find yourselves in detention before the holiday, Mr. Potter and Mrs. Greenwood?"
"Sorry, Professor." we both mumbled, quickly turning our attention back to our last assignment of the year. But I still wondered why Harry thought it was a bad idea to spend summer with him.
*After all classes*
"Enjoy your summer break, and I look forward to seeing you all return safely to Hogwarts in two months." Dumbledore concluded, bringing the year to a close.
"Whoo! Summer holiday!" I cheered, walking out of the Great Hall with my friends.
I slowed near the entrance. I saw Draco carrying my heavy trunks down the stairs while I watched other students struggle with theirs on the moving staircases.
"What a gentleman." Fred laughed looking over at Draco.
"I know right. He is a good guy." I smiled, as I waved the twins goodbye.
Then Ginny and Hermione came up to me.
"Can you believe year five is already over?" I said.
"I know! It's crazy, isn't it?!" Ginny exclaimed.
"Promise you'll write this summer, both of you." Hermione said, glancing at me and Ginny.
"You know I won't." I replied, perhaps a bit too honestly.
"Oh my gosh, Ivory, you're just like Ron!" she sighed, playfully nudging my shoulder.
"Maybe he learned from last break and will finally send one this summer." I said.
"He won't have to write this summer." She blushed.
"Oohh you're spending the summer with Ron, then?" I smirked.
"What? Are you staying at the Burrow?" Ginny frowned, confused.
"Well, I was supposed to go home to my parents, but they are out of town, so we decided last minute I was going with him. But we're only staying for a few days before heading to Rome." Hermione explained.
"Why didn't I know about this? My brother tells me nothing." Ginny replied, the confusion flooding over her face.
"At least you won't have to write then." I winked.
Ginny laughed, however Hermione took it a little too seriously. Then I pulled both of them in for a hug when I saw that Draco was already waiting for me. "Have a good summer girls! I'll miss you."
