He looked at April and smiled full heartedly.

“I would like you to know that I asked April to marry me.” My dad says smiling at us.

“What?” Aiden asks.

“What did you say April?” I ask her happily

“Please tell us you said yes mom” Jake says

“I said yes” she says smiling and pulling her hand out for all of us to see her ring. It was gorgeous. It was huge.

Congratulations were being said and everyone was happy.

“So are you guys moving in?” Aiden asks grabbing a spoonful of rice.

“Yes, we are. But the boys need to share a room.” April says

“The boys are away at university so they won’t be here much” my dad says

“So sharing a room was the best option” April says

“One of them can have my room” Aaron said.

Everyone turned to look at him.

“What? Are you moving out Aaron?” my father asks jokingly

“Yes I am” he says clearly annoyed at my father’s comment.

“What do you mean you’re moving out?” My father asked.

“I mean that Julie and I are moving in together” he says looking at my father.

“We didn’t talk about this Aaron. When did you decide all of this?” my father asked

“Since Julie and I got engaged” he says

“What?” My father asks

“I asked Julie to marry me” Aaron replies.

“You don’t even have a job yet Aaron, how are you going to support your wife?” my dad says getting angry

“Will, please calm down” April says to my father

“Julie what do your parents say about this?” my father asks turning his gave to her.

“They don’t know” she says without looking at him

“Her parents don’t know and you guys agreed to make a huge step. An adult decision?” my father says

“Yes, we are both old enough to make our own decisions.” Aaron says raising his voice.

“You both are in college, you both don’t work. How are you going to pay for rent? To pay for taxes. I am sure as hell not going to pay for them” my father shouts.
