“B, are you okay?” Luke asks
I turn to look at my boyfriend.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just thinking about the last three months.” I say holding his hand
The swinging doors open and Aaron’s doctor walks through.
“How is he?” My father asks. We all stand to our feet.
The doctor looks as us and smiles.
“We got the whole tumor” she says
Julie hugs her and lets out a cry of happiness. April was hugging my father. Jake and Josh were smiling at each. I hugged Luke.
“What the hell happened while we were gone?” asked Aiden holding a tray full of hot coffee.
“The tumor is out!” I say happily.
Aiden places the tray down and hugs me. Petra joins in on the hug. Soon enough we were having a full family hug.
A few hours later, we all sat in Aaron’s hospital room. The doctor told us to give him rest, but we promised that we weren’t going to get in the way. It was just me, April, Julie, Aiden and dad. Petra had gone back home with the others.
Aaron hasn’t woken up since the operation but the doctor said that was normal.
The nurse had told us that visiting hours were over and that everyone including Julie needed to head home. She had begged to stay but the doctor suggested otherwise since she was pregnant.
April and my father had brought their own car, so they hopped in and headed home.
Aiden, Julie and I hopped in to Aiden’s big car and pulled out of the hospital.
“I’m hungry!” I say, feeling my stomach growling
“Aiden, stop by Wendy’s, I need a sandwich” Julie says agreeing with me.
“No eating in my car” Aiden says
“Pleaseeee……..” I say dragging out the e.
“Aiden, I am feeding your niece or nephew inside my stomach!” Julie says sweetly
“Okay fine, only for the little guy!” he says taking a left.
