He snapped out of his thoughts abruptly when he fell to the floor and FRIDAY chimed up "Activating 'LifeLine' protocol. Peter will be here in a minute and 19 seconds. Here is some clips of the two of you."
Tony and Rhodes were confused, but watched the clips the hologram projected

A young spider clambered through the window and ripped off his mask, not caring about the other man in the room. He pulled Stark's hand to his own chest, and exaggerated his breathing for the older man to copy. Rhodes watched as a smile took over his best friend's face when the young teen arrived, and his worry dropped instantly.

After a few minutes, Peter and Tony were sitting on the floor hugging, Peter whispering reassurances into his mentor's ear.
They pulled apart and Tony ruffled Peter's curls "what the hell was the 'Lifeline' protocol?"
Peter just shrugged in response before thinking about it properly and changing his answer "I don't really know, but it sounds cool. Also it's staying, no changes no overrides."
Tony and Rhodes both smiled at the slight protective the teen had gained
"Sure Pete, the 'Lifeline' can stay."

Tony was in a meeting when some very important people doing a very important deal, but voices started getting raised as arguments began. Soon, we had Tony in a chair in the corner, while the other people were arguing, making crazy gestures with their hands to emphasise their point. Tony's breathing fastened and he started digging his fingernails into his palms as he got more anxious. "Boss, the LifeLine protocol has been activated. Everyone in the room please stay away from Mr.Stark until Bambi turns up."
The businessmen turned to Tony, who was getting worse by the second, but just as they were about to start asking questions, the door flew open. The boy shimmied through the crowd and flew to his mentor. "Hey Mr. Stark. Name 5 things you can see." Peter said in a calm, soothing voice.

"Space, dust, blood, bodies, Sokovia."
Peter frowned at this and emphasised his breathing pattern for Stark to follow. After a few breaths, Peter said the same thing, but the answer was different. "You, the wall, the men behind you looking shocked, the window, and the file for the marketing we were doing."
"That's great Mr. Stark, now 4 things you can hear."
"My voice, my heavy breathing, the AC and my foot shuffling around in my shoe."
Peter smiled brightly "Three things you can smell. "Motor oil from your shirt, my cologne and the fresh paint from the new walls."
Peter pulled Stark in for a hug and quickly let go. "If you need me, don't wait for FRIDAY to activate the protocol next time. The code word is Bambi or Lifeline if you need it. I'm going to go study for my Spanish quiz now but I'll be here in a flash if you need me."
Tony grins. "Bambi?"
"It stuck." Peter gave Tony another quick hug before walking out with a skip in his step.

The rogue avengers had come back, and were greeting with 2 squabbling men.
"Rhodes he almost killed me!"
"I know Tony but they paralysed me I can't deal with seeing them right now!"
A small cough alerted them to the other's presence and Tony's eyes grew in fear while Rhodes stumbled over his own feet and backed into the wall. Tony's voice was broken "FRIDAY Lifeline."
"Right away boss. Bambi has been alerted and is in going to be coming through the window any second now."
The rogue avengers stood in silence as a young boy with a good over his head opened the window and climbed in like it was nothing. At this point, both anxious men were on the floor curled up in a ball shaking. Peter approached slowly and got down to their level. Taking one of their hands each, he placed them on his chest and took very deep breaths to exaggerate his breathing. Rhodes looked up in fear but his face softened as he got back to Normal, but Tony wasn't getting better. Peter's full attention shifted to his mentor and he put a finger under his chin, forcing them to lock eyes. The response was instant, Tony latched onto Peter like he was his 'lifeline' and they swayed. When they pulled apart, Tony looked at Peter, the fear evident in his eyes. "Please don't let them hurt me Bambino. I'm scared Pete."
Peter's heart shattered at these words but he pulled Tony up quite effortlessly and sat him on the sofa, when they were comfortable, Peter looked over his shoulder. "You should come sit, make yourselves comfortable or something so we can talk this out."
Everyone hesitated but walked over, positioning themselves opposite the duo. Peter's smile faltered for a second, but no-one really noticed it. "My name's Peter, Tony refers to me as Bambi. I'm a pretty happy kid most of the time, but if you mess with Tony, you mess with me. He's the closest thing I have to family and if something happened to him, I'd kill everyone in this room and then myself without a second thought." Peter took a deep breath before continuing. "If he ever has a panic attack, ask FRIDAY to activate the 'Lifeline' protocol. It alerts me and I'll be here as soon as I can. Do not approach him, do not try to talk to him. Stay away and give him space. If for some reason I can't be here in person, FRIDAY will patch me through and I'll speak to him over the phone. But don't go near him. I'm his lifeline like he is mine. Snap one cord, and the other falls apart on it's own."
